Dr. office called script in on Friday, WalGreens automated system called me & saidmy prescription would not be ready at 3:00pm. They would call me back when it was ready. Hearing nothing from them I called them on Saturday at 1:00 to ask status of script and they said it would not be in until Monday after 1:00. They said the automated system should have told me this. The system did not tell me it would be Monday only said they would call me back when it was ready. I am very disappointed with this Walgreens as I probably could have found another pharmacy. other than Walgreens that had the script. If you receive a call from their automated system stating your meds will not be ready, you had better give them a call and speak to a live person, otherwise you may end up waiting for days for your meds. Automated systems should be checked every now and them.I think for the future I will use CVS.
After having the worst experience ever at a different location my prescription was moved here and they filled in a very timely manner, were very courteous, friendly and kind. They offered to throughly explain how to use the prescription and answered every question I had. This was a special prescription so they even told me how to go about getting a refill if I needed one so that I had more before I ran out and did not go without. This because it took time to make/put together. After all I had been through at a location of the same name a few miles away this was such a blessing and I am very grateful/thankful these people took the time to listen and care about my situation!!!
This CVS has friendly, helpful employees from the front cashier to the pharmacy staff. This location serves many elderly people in the Bellevue area, and the pharmacy workers make them feel very welcome and establish a genuine rapport with them. The pharmacy offers home delivery of medicine to shut-ins. Although the prices on many name brand toiletries, food items, etc. can be high, they offer their customers coupons and sales, plus the price and quality of a CVS brand product is often a good substitute. There is convenient parking but due to the busy traffic on both Highway 70 and Old Hickory Blvd., entering and exiting the parking lot can be dangerous.
Closing time was wrong. I went in thinking I had an hour before closing but was advised I had only 10 minutes. Not a lot considering I had never been in that store before. Prices seemed really high on the few items I looked at. So I didn't get everything I wanted. There were a lot of last minute customers being rushed out to close. For a brand that has closed so many stores, they should be thankful for every customer not rushing them out?
This CVS is super convenient to Melrose,12 th South, etc. store is laid out well and clean. I am always greeted when I enter and often asked if I need help. I get great coupons from their rewards program. The best part of this store is the pharmacy staff. They know me and my family and are always willing to answer questions and make me feel comfortable. I feel like it is a neighborhood pharmacy as opposed to a chain store experience.
This pharmacy is near Vanderbilt University so the location is convenient for students or people who work at the university since it is in walking distance. This however makes this location very busy. The staff tries to work as quickly as possible and give you full attention when it is your turn but try not to go during common hours or you may be in line for 30 minutes.
Dr. Kim in the pharmacy is terrific. As of Dec. 30, 2016, she's the best pharmacist we've ever talked with. Her advice is spot on and she takes her job seriously and provides a service beyond filling prescriptions. The entire team working there right now is really great - friendly and helpful!
I stopped by this location today to buy cough drops and experienced great customer service. A young associate not only greeted me, but asked if she could assist in locating an item. She then accompanied me directly to it (very nice and unfortunately so rare these days).
Great pharmacists and technicians here, always helpful in securing refills from our doctor, easy to use drive-thru and a parking lot that exits with a traffic light. When you are sick, you need all the help you can get, and this location makes that a little easier!
Nice staff and knowledgeable staff in the pharmacy. They have a pharmacy drive through which is helpful. Great place to buy last minute gifts and gift cards. Parking is easy and check out is normally fast. They also are a red box location for movie rentals.
