Dear Mike, I just wanted you to know that our “wedding” party last night was fabulous--- Jimmy Kelly’s has always been a special place for my parents and family forever and I love that you continue keeping up the wonderful tradition that is Jimmy Kelly’s! Thank you for all your help in making last night a special evening! Special thank you to King Arthur, Ozzie and the fabulous bartender Tricia..…. they were wonderful!

I don't eat steak, so it's always tough for me to find good options at a steak joint. I love Jimmy Kelly's. Truly. Their jumbo shrimp is huge and absolutely delicious. The blackened salmon could be one of the best I've ever had. Their Mac n Cheese - pretty awesome. Finally - the black cobbler dessert; ridiculous. I'll go back for the jumbo shrimp, salmon and black cobbler over and over and over again. Great place for that special night or to take family when their in town. It's really that great.

I went with a party of 7, including my young daughter. The service and atmosphere were wonderful.

I had a filet and it was delicious. The blackberry cobbler was fabulous.

Everyone in my party enjoyed their dishes as well. We will be back for sure!

Definitely the best bleu cheese stuffed filet I have ever had. Frank, our waiter was hilarious. My wife and I wanted to put him in our pocket and take him home with us. Good wine selection, not too expensive. Higher prices on the menu, but you get what you pay for. Blueberry cobbler for dessert....decadent.

First trip to Nashville and at Jimmy Kelly's. Lovely Victorian house with different rooms so noise is limited. Great atmosphere and wait staff very friendly. I thought the menu was a bit limited. The crab cake appitizer was amazing and they give you corn cakes (little pancakes) instead of bread. I thought the filet mignon was good, comparable to other steak places.

Out here for a conference and we had a group go here for dinner. Service was great, Robert was attentive and fun. Had the Kansas City Strip and it was perfect. Building looks like old home turned into restaurant but nice. Would return I when in Nashville again.

It had been several years since I dined at Jimmy Kelly's but I always remembered it as a great place; I was not disappointed. I won't wait as long to return.

Jimmy Kelly's has built and maintained its reputation for excellence by serving some of the finest steaks around. However, there's more to this restaurant than simply fine food. The ambiance, the layout of the various dining rooms, the management, and particularly the staff are truly delightful.

We had heard that Jimmy Kelly's was a premiere steak house in the south. So we decided to try it for my wife's birthday. The service was second to none, with out waiter being very affable and friendly. He was extremely helpful in recommendations and was a joy to have around. We both had a Kansas City 18oz cut cooked Medium Rare. The steak was delicious and made to order. I had the steak fries, and my wife had a baked potato. They brought the potato toppings out separate which was nice, so she could load it however she wanted. We had made online reservations, and had mentioned it was my wife's birthday, and they brought out a cake (free of charge!) with a candle on it. It made my wife's night. We even shared some with our waiter. The ambiance is great, as the restaurant is a converted mansion

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had amazing bone in filet mignon small lobster tail that was huge wonderful fried calamari crab cakes and the blackberry cobbler with ice cream just amazing

We are travelling across the US and found some good reviews for this restaurant so decided to give it a go. Firstly let me just say that this is not a restaurant that is just about food. It's about a dining experience. On walking in, we were warmly greeted and immediately seated. Our waiter Marcus was extremely professional and yet still very friendly. Just the right balance. He had a very good way of reading his guests and adjusting accordingly. To be honest, he was one of the best waiters I've had in any country... ever! I order the steak and my fiance ordered the salmon. Both meals were cooked to perfection although the only thing I could say needed improvement was the New York strip I had. A little to much fat and some grizzle along the edges for my personal liking. But it was still a good steak. The sides were good and we also ordered the blackberry cobbler which had a great flavor. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

I've been coming to Jimmy Kelly's for quite a few years now, and I have yet to be disappointed. The excellent menu and daily specials, coupled with extraordinary and knowledgeable servers, plus an outstanding bar are about the best combination one can find in the Nashville area. It's all reasonably priced, too! I'm definitely looking forward to my next chance to visit again.

Bo was an amazing server! We do not live in town but decided to go to dinner at Jimmy Kelly's and it was amazing! The food was hot and the service was outstanding! I would definitely recommend!

Our dinner at Jimmy Kelly's was excellent and made even better by our waiter, John. He was very informative about Nashville and when we told him we were from Iowa he told us that he had owned two restaurants in Iowa. He made the evening memorable and was such a great, attentive waiter. We will recommend Jimmy Kelly's to everyone going to Nashville.

Nice cuts of meat. Prepared well and tender. However, our steaks were grossly under seasoned. Good value overall

I was impressed with everything there except how they pack you in. We felt like we were way too close to other tables. I could have rested my arm on the table behind us without reaching! The waiter for that same table, the back if his starched coat kept resting on the back of my chair and I kept fearing he would accidentally elbow me in the head. We knew everyone's business around us because we could hear the conversation word for word. This was our anniversary, and the closeness of other tables, made what could be a romantic atmosphere into what felt like family dinner. We were there at 6:15 on a Monday, and there were only 5 tables of people there with other open tables, so it should have been spread out!

First, what's not to love about stepping back in time to dine? I loved the decorations and the old house.

If you ever go, request Arthur. He is a peach. He was so sweet, nice, funny and made the night an experience. He called us by our names and got to know us during the dinner. He set us up with one of the sweet wine carafe that made the wine even more delicious.

It is just a steak house, and if you are a person who wants all the fancy trimmings on a steak, then why are you eating a fine steak? When I want a steak, I want it to taste like a steak. The filet was amazing, so tender and was perfectly cooked.

Wonderful steak, professional service and quiet atmosphere. This is the way a dining experience should be like. Prices are reasonable for the quality.
