        We are originally from Connecticut but now live in North Carolina but when we come home we always head to the Sea Swirl Seafood Restaurant to get our fill on whole belly clams and the awesome cod fish. We make a trip every year and never miss our trip to Mystic.

        This has long been a local favorite - both for its soft serve ice cream and its seafood. Open seasonally, it has a great reputation for good food at reasonable prices. Please note that there is no "indoor" to this restaurant; you sit at picnic tables after you order & receive your food. But the location is great - right on the Mystic River. Highly recommended for a great shore lunch.
