Business History

Transmission repair shop in Memphis TN. The first Coleman Taylor Transmission Shop opened in downtown Memphis in 1961, and grew to 13 shops in 3 states. Our history includes drag racing, specifically funny cars! Larry Coleman's 1968 Super Torino was the first funny car to hit 200 mph.
