BEWARE-I purchased a 2009 Jeep Wrangler from Chip's and when I asked for the taillight to be fixed before I purchased it they told me it would be. It never was replaced-I was told that it just needed to be resealed but this type of light cannot be resealed it must be replaced. I was also told that a FULL safety check was completed,.however after I drove off the lot and got home I realized that the horn didn't work and there was an oil leak in the pinion seal. Both of which should have been found in their "safety check". I also made them aware that when I fill my tank with gas the gas shoots out. I was told that I purchased a used car and the gas tank does not need to be replaced and that Jeep manufactured the car not them and the used car dealer is not responsible for this. I was told to fill the gas slowly and that this happens to ALL Jeeps since the gas tank isn't vented anymore, He would not even look into the gas tank because he said it would not be covered under my 60 day warrenty. This all occurred within 2 weeks of purchasing the Jeep. The owner even stated to my husband when he was at the dealer that there was a flaw in the gas tank but we were never made aware of that before we purchased the vehicle.
