What's the point of building a new hospital when you don't have any doctors I can see patients? I try to schedule appointment to see a pulmonologist and I got to wait three and a half months. They act like the rest of the planet doesn't have to work too!!!!
The doctors that they have would be good if they were overworked.....
Avoid Saint Anthony's Franciscan services in Michigan City

The worst hospital I have ever had to go to. It started when I got the ER with bad ulcer pains. They were so bad I need help getting out of the car. So they grabbed the rent a cop with a wheel chair he picked me up and slammed my head into the wheel chair. After I freaked out over the whole thing. It was amazing some how non of their cameras where working that night..

I would not send my worst enemy there, staff and Drs are completely negligent! They overdosed my moms medication after hip replacement surgery and she fell out of bed due to the nurses negligence. The nurses aids have no idea what they are doing, I wouldn't even give it a 1 star, terrible

Unbelievable.. By changing the names of the clinics they were above to up the x ray and charges by 700%. Well above medicare guidelines. I suggest gettin your MRI,CT or Xrays at Southlake outpatient and save big bucks at 10 cents to the dollar. Don't be stupid.

I was seen in the ER by Dr Archana nd thankfully a complete hemoglobin was performed and came back in my favor. However my throat being huge and my fatigue I asked while they charged me for drawing so many tubes of blood and they are held for an accountable amount of time could you also do a thyroid test w/ my test tubes of blood to hopefully rule out! With my my type of complaints should have been ordered. The dr on call said no go to your primary dr. That's would be great providing I had insurance and ER was my chosen option in fact because there is sign in the ER that states specificly you will be seen and treated under no type of prejudices! This hospital does have prejudice against low income people! You are treated as low income! Due to the generation of pill popping these days if you need a pain medication this is not the hospital of comfort for you! I didn't throw much of a fit but when billing calls me i will in fact deny all or some of the payment as the dr didn't do but a partial job! I will humble myself to pay what render is due to her and that is all she will receive. You get what you give!!!! It is quite rare that I complain... Treated unjust and very offended by my lack of treatment!!!!!

People in town say...nobody gets out of there alive. My personal experience includes wrong medication, incompetent nurses, staff that doesn't care and rude doctors. When I was in that hospital and experiencing how unprofessional most of the people were, all I remember thinking was...I've got to get out of here before they kill me. They said I didn't have much of a chance. I went to Saint Vincents Hospital in Indianapolis and was cured in three days. seems like a bunch of local people that went to the local junior college and were hired at Saint Anthony Hospital. Unless you're going to die in the next few minutes I would go anywhere else.
