I took my son there as a reward and our Cinnabons were RAW! Yes raw. I took them back after talking to two different very confused employees about the fact I received raw dough. They explained that they check the temperature because they come in FROZEN! I’ve never heard of frozen Cinnabons. I go and the “manager” Kirk says well I gave you more. I asked him if he would feed the raw ones to his children, he wouldn’t answer. I get home with the “replacements” and find I have to warm them for 20 minutes!!!!!! Are you kidding me....will NEVER visit this location again. Customer service was bad the food was worse.

The staff at this store is completely incompetent. We had ordered online and prepaid, only to arrive at the store and find out that they were out of two of the three items that my wife had ordered. When I asked for a refund, they were unable to, saying that it had to go thru their corporate office. What was most disturbing though, was that they were completely unapologetic and lacked any discernible customer service skills. Needless to say, we wont be back.
When you need cakes for a special someone, come visit this store and you'll be surprised with the quality and taste of their cakes.
This place is awesome !!!
I went in for a specialty cake quote and was blown away by the amazing smell wafting through the place. Not only did Dori beat any competitors price. Dori was very personable and the place had a very down home feel to it, fell in love with the place as soon as stepping foot in. I only went in for a quote but couldn't resist the tempting treats in the case. The baked goods were to die for very delighted to have found this place and would highly recommend to everyone and anyone!!
Never order for here. The owners are terrible to work with. They don't return phone calls, they don't deal with customers who have problems. They're awful. It took me over a month to get a price quote on a groom's cake and then, it was damaged on the way to the wedding and I had to follow up three times before they refunded the money they said they'd refund on the wedding day. The wedding cake itself wasn't good and didn't taste at all like the one we had at the bridal fair, though it was supposed to be the same cake. Don't buy from Sassy's Cafe & Bakery in Mesa, the owners are awful to work with.
We would like to say the cake and frosting and decor was fantastic. My dtr loved her 30th surprised bday cakes, 8 inch round cake/marble with cocoa frosting. Butter cream frostings. 2 doz cupcakes were so cute and delish! We will never go anywhere else. This was a stab in the dark adventure. Cakes are homemade and not a boxed cakes. Fresh fresh!!! Loved it very much. Support locals! Thanks Sugarlips for such great products and service.
What an amazing little place. Came in for some bread but left with a lot more. Bread was warm right out of the oven. Also bought a chorizo egg breakfast burrito. Spicy, but very tasty, and price was good too. Lots of desserts in the case. I bought a cannoli and one of the cinnamon rolls. This is one of my favorite little places to go to. I would recommend to anyone looking for a treat or even just for a quick breakfast.
