Was kind of worried about trying a new shop but was in a hurry. Went in to get a simple hair cut with a shape up all around. They cut my hair but messed up my shape up really bad. I didn't want to create a scene so I just paid and left. Will not go back here again. Now have to go to another shop to fix the mistakes.

WORSE PLACE TO GO: stay away from these people. 1. not clean 2. barbers cut uneven hair & DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. 3. the owner is a a******. She refused to refund money after barber messed up my hair. Save your time and money and most importantly your hair.
Customer service was superb. Tandis gave me helpful tips on how to manage my hair. The only bad part was that I had my lip wax and it got really red due to over waxing. Also I was surprise she didn't know what angle haircut meant but other than that everything was good.
Seriously so disappointed. I went in asking for a gray colored hair, I understood it was going to take a couple sessions to get to my desired hair color! So the process began at 10:30 am and didn't finish until 5:30. I was there all that time to only leave with the worst hair. The contrast between the grayish color and my black hair was so obvious!!! It was a STRAIGHT line between the two colors. There was no contrast or ombré effect . It was an obvious Dubois between the 2 colors... I tried explaining what was wrong and she kept saying there was NO way she could do that. The other hair stylists were giggling about the situation. She offered to fix it the next day which I just left and there is NO difference it looks horrible. As I was leaving the owner apologized and said that I should have made the appointment with one of his other workers who knew what she was doing. I was LIVID I told him "so if you knew that she didn't have experience in coloring hair then WHY DID YOU LET LET HER DO IT" or why did no one help at least.... He said NEXT time you come on to get it fixed we will do it for free (as if I'm going s third time to get my hair damaged again) I would have cussed her out if it wasn't for the fact that she was really nice! I even tipped her. Just looks horrible. I now have to wait a couple weeks to go to someone with experience and fix it for me. I have to braid it every day so that nobody will notice the horrendous coloring.
This is the worst salon I have ever been to. It is very dirty, they have the employees children running around the salon. They do not honor the Groupon they offer. When you make your appointment they act like they didnt have you on the schedule then someone else will say "Dont worry about it I will fit you in." Once they have you in the chair they tell you they are going to charge you a additional price because they are not the one with the Groupon service. They wanted to charge me $180 on top of what I had already paid for the Groupn. I ended up walking out of the salon with wet hair. Because she refused to provide me with the Groupon services. Then she has the nerve to call the police because I wouldn't pay. I am not paying for a service I paid for but did not receive! This place is very shady
I showed up today 30 minutes before closing (I wasn't aware they closed at 7)and Martha was the only stylist working. Me being a licensed hair dresser myself am very particular with my hair! I am no Longer in a salon as I moved on to a different profession. Martha did a wonderful job with my hair. I would definitely recommend her. I saw s previous commenting here ( I looked at reviews before I came) and someone stated she didn't look like she wanted to be working. People tell me all the time I appear mad or angry but it's just my natural look. I would definitely not judge off that. Once you speak with her and are in her. Hair she takes great care of you! Everytime I have gotten my hair colored outside of the salon I worked in and prior to having my license I always got a nervous feeling and my hair wasn't how I imagined ! I have blonde dimension highlighted hair bad a dark underneath. It turned out basically how I pictured. She stayed almost two hours after close to accommodate me and I am very glad I chose to try this salon this evening!
This was my first and last visit to this salon. It was also the WORST hair experience of my life. I spent over eight and a half hours in this "Salon of Horrors" only to look like Bozo the Clown. I arrived on time for a 10 a.m. appointment with the Senior Stylist, Lorraine Corbin-Morales, who strolled in 30 minutes late. I was Lorraine's ONLY customer for the ENTIRE day. I have long natural and wavy hair and had expressed to Lorraine that I had not put any chemicals in my hair for almost two years, but that if she had something mild to control the effects of the humidity, I would be open to it. I also requested that she cut my hair in layers. She recommended a texturizer and then she began to cut my dry dirty hair. I thought this was odd since every stylist that has cut my hair always did so after they had washed and straightened it. Nevertheless, I trusted her as professional and allowed her to do her job.I immediately noticed that Lorraine could not multitask. Every time she spoke, she stopped working on my hair. She did this even as she processed my hair. She continued to talk excessively about my brother, who she once "dated", and at one point I ended up calling him just so she could say, "Hello". This "work and stop" attitude continued on during my wash, and throughout the day. The back of my neck began to hurt from being in the sink too long; My head went numb and felt like it had gone to "sleep". Lorraine later recommended highlights to cover my few grey strands; I reluctantly agreed. As she highlighted my hair, she ran out of the product TWICE and had to walk to the back of the salon to mix up more. She even took the time to cut up and serve watermelon! Meanwhile, half of my hair was already wrapped in foil and being processed. I expressed my concerns to her, but she assured me that I was fine. In addition, she brought her young daughter to work with her who was hyper and very headstrong. Don't get me wrong, I love children and have raised five of my own, but when I go to a salon, I want to get pampered, not deal with young children. There was one other stylist there that day who finished THREE clients in LESS than half the time it took Lorraine to do just me.Eight hours later, my hair was finally done. It was not what I expected, but it was decent. My husband paid for my hair, over $200, and we left starving and exhausted at 6:30 p.m. Later that night, after the hairstyle had worn out, I parted and styled my hair the way I would normally wear it. It was then to my horror that I noticed the damage. I had bright orange patches and over bleached yellow stands that were beginning to break near the left front of my hair. I sent Lorraine a friendly message, which she ignored. After a full 24 hours of not hearing back from Lorraine, I contacted her again. This time I was firm. Lorraine acknowledged that she had received the pictures of my damaged hair, but stated that she did not get the text in full. Really? Didn't she wonder why I sent her the pictures?Lorraine offered to "fix" the problem, but frankly I did not feel comfortable with Lorraine touching my hair again. I politely asked for a refund for the highlights only, and she agreed to my request. I never received my refund and Lorraine has NEVER apologized for damaging my hair. It's no wonder that after 20 years of business Lorraine has NO CLIENTS on a Saturday, which is normally the busiest day of the week for most stylist. She stated to me that she valued her customers and was a woman of integrity, yet she refuses to honor her word and refund me my money She also stated that she only wanted a certain "class" of people in her salon. Well in order to attract "class" you have to be classy yourself. To everyone out there reading this: STAY AWAY! Find yourself a competent stylist who will respect you.
horribly they left my hairline an inch up I regret even considering this place
Great service great price
I love this place. I am new in town and found this place by trial and error. I have very fine thin hair and it grows very slow. I saw Martha and she is an amazing stylist. The cut and color was perfect. I will defenitly go back and would recommend Guys and Dolls to anyone.
