My wife and I have been dining at Mi Casa for several years. We find the service to be exceptional. The atmosphere is oriented to families, and in fact, one of the waitresses actually saved a child's life. She noted that the child was choking and took quick action to dislodge the offending food from the child's mouth. Maria Romo is the heroine of the restaurant, and was acclaimed as such by the media.
Above all, the food there is authentic. I can say this because I lived in Mexico for five years

Provided by SuperpagesA lovely family owned restaurant. They have the best staff in town. Best food & great prices! They are a lot better than all the other Mexican Restaurants in Lexington. I recommend this place to everyone. I come there at least 1-3 times a week for the queso & chips, & the Chicken ACP. I give them a 5/5 rating.

I was part of a party of 30 or more and we had one of the rooms there reserved. when we showed up the room was not ready for us there were other guests there. After they left we got the room set up for the party, after the room was set up we found our own menus and waited an hour and a half for someone to take our order about 45 minutes later our food came out where the servers were calling out the order and asking whos it was (very unprofessional). i ordered a #7 which was chile relleno, and enchilada, and rice and beans with a tamale as a side, my rice was not done and EVERYTHING was covered in enchilada sauce even the tamale, only the enchilada should have had the sauce, my wifes meal was worse she ordered a #13 chile relleno, a burrito and beans. the chile relleno tasted like soap (i know cilantro to some tastes like soap but there was none on the chile) when she cut the burrito open the meat was grey looking and even in the dim light you could see like tiny rainbows in it ( a sign of being spoiled) and upon a closer look at it it was bubbling, need less to say she ate none of it.
as far as i know 1 of the other members of the party was sick the next day.
go eat there if ya want to but you will never see me in there again
