My name is Karen W. and like others I don't hide behind fake name. even it is your real name I know for a fact everything you shared about StepByStep Rocovery is false they are not all about the money they are one of lowest paying program around that offers strong recovery and a new way of life I know first I am a recovering addict for over 5 years thanks to this place so there is way more of us that will speak up showing our appreciation against the haters. I and so many others like myself get upset to hear or read the negative reviews. You had the audacity to choose to attach someone sexuality (Showing Ignorance) what does that have to do with recovery. The Director shows nothing but care and compassion for others she go way and beyond helping those in need even people who are not a resident at the program she feed, clothes and share time to the community as well not turning anyone away her experience it's just as qualifying as a counselor but stronger because she has walked the path as many of us suffering from addiction now she teaches others by giving and sharing her Knowledge. Not everyone is ready to receive what is offer they want to complain not willing to put the work in ( What you put in is what you get out) I know SBS is not for everyone but I personally Thank You for saving my Life.......

All of the people should be a shame of yourself talking negative about this program SBS have save my life and many others. They do offer counseling it's off site for those who need more treatment. This a strong recovery program with loving, caring, compassionate staff. Just because they don't blast the heat there it's still warm enough that's how they keep the cost down for a person like me to afford recovery. If heat is your biggest problem go to club med. or Betty Fords center. Paying 600.00 I think they should charge more for all they do. I am 3 years clean and sober {priceless} you can't put I price on freedom and a new life. Thank God for this program

I also was bless to have gone through this program you are right Mike this is a great program what you put in is what you get out of it and more. Anonymous8691 knows nothing about recovery and for you to complain about heat (that's why you are Anonymous)make no senses. Sorry Nicole it sound like there was problems with you and your husband before he went to the program. Don't try to hurt a place that have help so many because you hurting. I am clean for 22 months thanks for this program that believed in me help change my life when everyone else was giving up on me.

Do not come here for help. This place is a joke! They say they are a counseling center but yet they do not provide any counseling what so ever. Plan on freezing the death in the winter time because you don't get any heat, atleast the guys dont anyway. Plan on sweating in the summer because they turn the ac off when it gets a little cool outside for a couple days! They are all about the money. You pay $600 a month for what? For NOTHING! Look at other options before you consider this place for treatment for a loved one.

This should be a place for recovery not about money. They are so wonderful at first when I was there to check in my husband but now after him being in there for 2 months I fill differently. I called to get address to send him stuff, they refused, and head person wouldn't return my calls. Next they say that there is no dating but now my husband is dating a girl in there spends all his time with her and they don't do anything about it. I have lost my husband for many reasons and one of them is Step By Step.
