First of all, it is not Nails 101. It is Nail 101. But, they should rename this place Unhappy Nail. I don't require a circus act but signs of life should be a minimum standard. The unsmiling man filled up a foot bath with cold water and asked me if it was too hot. Then, a woman I assume is/was his wife, spent a quiet 15 minutes cutting my toenails with a cuticle nipper and painted them. All different shapes and lengths. I asked if she intended to shape the nails and she made a grunting noise and walked away.I've now been sitting in the chair now for going on 20 minutes and nobody has said a word. Am I finished? Shall I go? Am I being charged for a cold soak and clipping? I don't know. I'd almost come back here just because the gross lack of personality and service is fairly comical. I'm not sure what to do. Tempted to run out the door barefoot but they might call the cops and this is WyCo. Cops up in here don't play around. Plus I'd get my feet dirty.Anyway. 25 minutes and holding here. I've not been further acknowledged. My nails are dry. All ten misshapen hooves. I'm bolting. Let you know how it goes. In the meantime, don't even come here as a last resort. Just cut your own nails. With a clipper.

NEVER come here! The service was horrible. Pay way to much to experience what I did. Literally took them 3 hours to do my nails and feet because they didn't tell me when I walked in that they had appointments back to back, so they had to keep stopping and start on other people. They need more help if that's the case. Very unprofessional.
I've been a customer of the owner ("Miko") of the shop for YEARS, and have no plans to change. I love the atmosphere. Everyone who comes in the door is greeted and treated with the utmost courtesy, including smiling faces. Even if the cosmetologists are doing hair, they take time to answer questions and to speak respectfully to everyone. Aside from the personable service and atmosphere, the skills of the staff are great. I could not keep going to ANYONE who didn't make me feel beautiful before walking out! This was the type of care that I did NOT receive before I came to Miko, and what has kept me with her for so long... even before Infinity even came about. I am always recommending people to Infinity, and will continue to do so, because I have experienced their quality of service.
Excellent and professional service by a very talented nail artist. The newly remodeled shop is clean and beautiful.
They pamper you, take great care of your hands and feet, are staffed with friendly, professional (and non-pushy) stylists. Do make sure you have an appointment on the weekend; they get pretty busy. Highly recommended!
DONT GO THERE Service Was terrible, attitudes was horrible young girls fresh out of school are better. definitely the workshop in Kansas City
I visited Mocha J for an express Mani/Pedi & was quite disappointed. My express pedicure (which was supposed to take 20 minutes) included a 5 minute soak, <60 seconds of callous treatment, a quick lotion application (no massage), <60 seconds of nail shaping/cuticle care, & a $5 extra charge for polish. I've had many, many nail services at other salons in KC & have never had an extra charge for colored polish (However, I know many salons charge extra for French which is understandable). My express manicure was truly the worst I've ever had - my nails were cut at different lengths and filed at such a harsh flat top that I had to go home and correct the sharp pointed corners. Further more, my cuticles were pushed back with such force that the tool cut my skin on 2 fingers - one bled for 15 minutes & required a bandage before I left the salon. I opted not to pay $5 for colored polish and went with the complimentary clear coat that came from a mystery bottle (Not OPI or Essie like most of her other polishes) and left my nails looking flaky and streaked. The salon (which has only been open for a few months) was less than clean and looked rather thrown together. The whole service was rushed (perhaps because I had the last appointment of the day & was using a LivingSocial deal) & was not the relaxing yet speedy experience I was expecting. Mocha J was very friendly and professional and the online appointment booking was quick and easy. Unfortunately my mani/pedi was definitely not up to par with other locations so I won't be recommending or returning to this salon.
A friend and I went in to get our nails done and when the girl was doing my set she kept talking about how bad they looked.. She then cut my finger with her tool and yelled at me for it! Needless to say my nails look horrible!! They weren't filed down at all To top all that off they have signs posted everywhere about you have to leave a cash gratuity and when a girl and her mom were leaving the woman worker told them they had to leave a tip! Worst nail experience ever. Don't waste your money!!
