Blue Mountain Hospital, founded in 1949, is a nonprofit full-service hospital. The hospital offers three monitored intensive care unit beds, two birthing suites, and two surgery theaters that provides both inpatient and outpatient surgeries. It provides a full range health care services, such as obstetrics, emergency care, medical, surgical, cardiology, diabetes and cancer care services. The hospital, located in John Day, Ore., offers diagnostics, including imaging, ultrasound, mammography, catheterization and computed tomography. The hospital also has monthly specialty clinics with physicians specializing in urology, orthopedics, gynecology, opthalmology, cardiology and podiatry. Additionally, Blue Mountain Hospital provides outpatient rehabilitation services, such as pulmonary rehabilitation, and occupational, physical and speech therapies.
