This is a (2010) review for the new Y at the new location downtown. Like a Twinkee, it looks good on the outside, but it's empty calories and sloppy goo on the inside. Staff is poorly trained, too-young-to-know-much, bored, or just cynical. Yes, the machines are fine and the paint is fresh b…

I recently wrote a review of which i decided to change my opinion for the better. I grew a little impatient and felt like i made an early judgement and I apologize. I have been to one event and had a great time. I would love to try this again if you they would have me. Thanks.
This club has NOT closed. The business office closed, but the club is still very much in business. Meetings are monthly at different venues, and the group is very actively supporting the Houston Public Library, UH scholarships, and Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. They have a fundraiser each year and would love for you to join them as they strive to improve the lives of Houston women and children. Please visit www.thewomansclubofhouston.org for more information!
I met my fiance through Eight Friends Out while at a speed dating mixer. He is amazing and I am sooo lucky. I have Eight Friends Out to thank!!!
It has been a long time since I had been in the dating scene. I have been divorced for 4 years and I`m not used to the bar scene. However, I attended one of the EightFriendsOut speed dating events at 3rd floor this past weekend, and it was great. I really liked the mixer at the end since it allows for more conversation. I`m already signed up for the next one!
A friend of mine who lived in this area introduced me to Eight Friends Out. I joined the group and attended a few speed dating events and dinners. I always had a great time and met a lot of nice people. I would definitely recommend it to anybody.
Don't waste your money! These reviews are very old and date back to when the original owner had the business. The new owner Nikita is a terrible businesswoman. She charged my credit card even though my friend (guest) paid for herself at the event. Nikita won't return my phone calls and will not issue a credit to my credit card. The credit card company opened an investigation and she sent in a "confirmation of tickets". There are no tickets to these dinners!! She is sleazy and unprofessional. Do not give her your money!!!
NO LONGER A&G THIS IS CALLED MOTOWN II. THE ORIGINAL OWNERS ARE BACK!!!This is the adult spot to play. It's discreet, plenty of parking, no cover and mature. The music is always on, I can hear Zydeco, Blues, R&B no RAP or HIP HOP. The drinks are plentiful and so is the selection. I was intrigued with the frozen drink machine, the bartenders were able to make some concoctions that I had never heard of and it was delicious. Kisses to the cook for that fabulous buffet she cooks. That girl puts her foot in it.
