Best karoake around. Great staff and very good location.
This restaurant serves low quality food. The food is edible, but I would say would be an experience similar to that of Dale's. Not horrible, but definetly not a place I would recommend. I was mislead by the 'tavern' in the name and thought it would be similar to the Village Tavern on hwy 280. This place was a waste of my money!!!
Do yourself a favor and try the Monte Cristo Sandwich. I went for sunday brunch which is buffet style. The ambience is wonderful and the staff is very friendly!
I have been to Creekside Tavern twice already, and I had great food and great experiences both times. I felt the prices were better than competitors carrying the same caliber of food because their entrees include a salad while most restaurants charge for the salad. Creekside's salads are fresh, crisp and have delicious dressings. Our entrees were very good as well. I ordered the mahi mahi which was a very generous portion and cooked to perfection. My companion(who is, by the way, a "food snob") tried the salmon and really liked it. He felt it had good flavor and was not overcooked. We shared the cookie sundae for dessert which was rich and delicious. I also love what the new owners "have done to the place". The chalk art panels are truly amazing. I can't wait to go back to Creekside--not just for good food and service, but also to see more of the art which I have heard will be changing periodically. This restaurant is a great addition to the Hoover community!!!
I love this new restaurant! So convenient right across from Galleria Mall. We went for drinks after work (awesome frozen margaritas), then went back for a great Sunday brunch (fast and delicious). It is new so they may be working out the kinks, but I would definitely give them a second chance!
With high hopes for a new restaurant, my wife and I thought to check it out. The wait staff was friendly. But that was where the fun ended. We ordered our food. It took 20 minutes to get a Cesar salad to my wife, with the dressing smelling and tasting soured. We told our waiter about it and he apologized, but made no effort to offer a replacement with anything else. Over 35 minutes total wait time, my wife's food was delivered. My simple fish and chips were still being cooked in the kitchen. Her sirloin, which was ordered medium, arrived well done. It was very under flavored and it had a grittiness to it as if it had been freezer burned. We told our waiter and again he apologized. I told him that I wanted to speak to the manager. We watched as he went to her, spoke with her and finally pointed over to us. A few minutes later, she started walking our way but stopped and headed a different direction. I watched as the wait staff was obviously not sure of what to do or their role in the evening's process. I was also appalled by the sight of one of the kitchen staff with very long hair and no hair net, just a simple short baseball cap. We left after waiting for the manager who did not arrive. Our evening was capped off by excellent service and great food at the Applebee's down the street.
