The Brothers Farmers Market

I've recently frequented this farmers market for their low prices and "reduced produce" section, where you're bound to find a good deal on ripe and ready to eat fruits and vegetables. However, on my visit two days ago, I came home to find a small amount of white mold in the inside of a bag of cucumbers. Additionally, most of the cucumbers had a film on them, which I assume to be mold forming, and one was actually rotting. I attempted to take them back along with two bags of oranges (perfectly fine, found cheaper oranges elsewhere) and informed the cashier that I was returning the items. He let me know he'd have to get his manager's approval. When she came out of the back and to the register, she seemed annoyed at me wanting a refund and told me that there wasn't any refunds on reduced items. I asked her where that policy was posted and she walked over to the rack and pointed to a sign at the top, which had been obscured by packages of reduced items on the day of my purchase. But, at the end of the day, the policy wasn't what I had an issue with. What I had an issue with was the tone she had with me during our interactions and the attitude that came along with it as she walked over and pointed at the sign (it was slightly humiliating). I've always had pleasant interactions with any of the rest of the staff, including cashiers and persons stocking the shelves. However, after this experience, I won't be going back.



Don't buy the reduced produce! The items have likely already gone bad!!

When I visit for first time this store I was impressed with the quality and price of the produce and also the variety ,cleanest and friendly place. I do almost all my shopping there can wait to go back this week .It is a little far from where i live but is worted the trip THANKS GUYS
