Overall

The fruit and vegetables are always fresh and tasty. I like the fact that a lot of the produce is grown locally. I drive the extra miles to shop there because of the tomatoes - they are priced right and delicious. Staff has always been helpful and curtious. Have told my friends about it and they like it also.

I've only been to this place a few times, but my last visit sort of left a bad taste in my mouth and left me wondering whether I would ever go back. Long story short: I bought something. It wasn't good (I bought the same thing the day before and it tasted much, much better). I drove back to the store within 20 minutes of the purchase to exchange it for something else. Now i wouldn't necessarily call the way they handled the situation rude, but they could have been much more gracious about the whole thing . I mean they basically looked at and treated me like I did something wrong or I was trying to pull one over on them (for 5 bucks, please!) I mean I shouldn't have to explain or figure out what is wrong with your product. It wasn't good. That should be the end of it. Ultimately, they issued me a credit but what's with the sour looks and all? I'd rather shop at Publix where my business at least seems appreciated. Sure BFM has some good products, but to me the real test of a company's character is how they deal with things when they go wrong. In this respect, BFM could do better. The ladies in charge just seem like they have a chip on their shoulder...
