Chuck at kama'aina motor gave me an amazing deal. I had looked far and wide for just the right vehicle for my budget and needs and he was the only one that helped me get what I needed in a timely fashion. I appreciate the the extra trouble he went to in order to accommodate me. Chuck has made me look at car dealers in a new and better way and I recommend him and kama'aina motors highly.

WORST Repair shop EVER! They are clueless, rude, treat you like you are stupid and will Rip you off!!! Read reviews online and find a trustworthy, knowledgeable shop... They charged me $120 and quoted me, saying my truck needed upwards to $5000 in repairs and all I actually needed was a $200 part that took 5 minutes to install! EVERY part they said needed to be replaced was perfectly good!
My truck runs perfect now after installing a new TCM, which I told them was what was wrong from the minute I first went to them!

Their moto, "Car People Who Care", is a complete joke. These guys do not stand behind the cars they sell and will squeeze you for every penny they can get out of you. After buying a used car with extremely low miles, the clutch and one of the rear calipers already needed to be replaced after 1 week. Within the first 3 months, the car was in the shop for 9 weeks for engine and electrical problems. The sales manager, Randy, refused to help me or even treat me with respect for choosing their dealership over the others in Hilo. Randy would constantly either give me lip service or treat me like I was retarded; I'm a premed student for S#!t sake. I was constantly told that these problems were a result of me choosing this car, and they were unaware of any of these issues. I feel absolutely scammed by this dealership and wouldn't even let my worst enemies buy a car here. Please take this as a warning of this dealership and think about buying a car elsewhere.
