Cocoa Couture

Went shopping for a prom dress. I wanted my dad to approve, he was away on business overseas. They said I could hold the dress off the floor - with money down. I specifically asked if dad didn't approve about getting my deposit back - was told no problem...LIE!
Was ignored for 30 minutes and then felt like I was an inconvenience because all I was going to spend was $300.
Anyways. I went to get deposit back (50%) - my boyfriend wasn't going to be allowed to go to my prom. So, I called ahead as a courtesy. They refused to give me a refund but would give me an in-store credit. The owner was really nasty to my mom. Girls: A 17-year-old cannot sign a contract without a parent present - you have to be 18 or older to sign a legal contract. The owner said "so sue me I don't care. I don't need your money." My mom's response was "we'll take the credit, and you just put a dollar amount on your reputation...$150. It's going to be a pleasure giving you negative reviews!" Limited sizes and styles.
