My sister and I are both avid readers and we buy a lot of books. We normally go to the B.Dalton on Shaw in Clovis, but occasionally we would go to Barns&Noble (now we'll be going there more since our B.Dalton is closing). The book selection and variety is awesome and the enviroment I'm sure is meant to be comfortable. Just about everytime we've gone there we've both felt like everyone is looking down their noses at us because we're not "preppy" (so to speak). We normally shop as fast as we can so we can get out. Besides the environmental issues we've had, its a pretty cool place and the book selection makes up for it. Luckily a few people from B.Dalton will be transferring over so thats a big plus now. =)
I have been shopping at Majesty since it was originally opened. I go into the store to buy one item and end up hanging out looking at all the huge selection of top of the line products. Since I am there so much, I have had occasion to observe the employees and the owner work together. I continue to be in awe of the love and respect the owner shows his employees and the customers. I love that owner is an amazing man of God who cares for his staff as employees and more so, for their walk with the Lord.
This bookstore is wonderful to browse around in, with a very large selection of books. There's also a great atmosphere with a coffee shop and comfortable chairs for people who are waiting for those of us who like to browse through the books for awhile.
They have classic novels here, I really love classic novels particularly the Russian ones. I found my copy of Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment here and I am never this happier in my life!
I really love the books being sold here. They exhibit and let the costumers open the books and the staff is friendly and helpful. I’ll be beginning my book-wormy journey here!
