bench fee

Every store has a bench fee! How do you expect a business to survive on $20 bucks a pop. Fix it yourself or pay the bench fee. Jeeze!

A father-son team. Good people. I found them after I tried a popular computer store in town for a battery and they couldn't even tell me where it was sourced AND they wanted a lot more money to install it. After that, I had Sam update my computer with the latest IMac operating system and clean it up. It was a delight coming into the shop. There was a problem with Java that took more time than anyone should have to put in, but he really wanted to solve the problem with me and went the extra mile with reasonable, but definitely not extra-mile charges. Grateful to have a place to bring the Mac that makes me smile.

At 11pm I called their number, and they were closed.



It specifically states on here that TechMedic is open 24/7, but the Voicemail message clearly states otherwise.

Not happy! :(

Took an Ipad into the store. I decided to replace my ipad screen myself... I could not completely seal the digitizer to the ipad case on one corner, the rest was perfect! I went in to see if I could get it sealed and finished for around $20, maybe $40, it just needed the little corner pushed down and sealed / adhesive applied, etc. He could not do it, but still charged me $120!!! I got it "half off" since it was my 1st visit to the shop. I was stunned! Not fixed, it actually looked like he didn't even touch the thing! He may have tried, but failed, and still charged me $120!!!!

This is a great place for repair of Macintosh computers. The owners are very knowledgeable and I have used them on several occasions, and have always been completely satisfied. Their rates are very reasonable. Highly recommend!
