My package has been sitting at this place for 2 days and is now 2 days late and only has to be sent to Chicago!!

Make this 3 days now...

Worst facility I sent package on 2/22/15 it was going to Santa Rosa, CA estimated arrival to Santa Rosa, CA was 2/26/15 have been tracking still show departing tgis facility since 2/24/15 nobody can tell me where my package is!

The worst USPS facility. . my item arrived to this facility and there has been no update ever since its been over a week now.

my package is currently in this facility and I am reading the reviews and im terrified right now of loosing my item please be careful and get it out of there quick :/

I have been on the phone numerous times with our Landmeir, Elk Grove Post Office supervisor, who continues to give unrelated excuses of why I have not received my mail that was suppose to arrive by the 19th of Dec. One was "you don't have a regular mail carrier for your route, good luck on getting it" - Really?

Today Jan. 13, 2015, and I have still not received this mail!

Despite the fact my daughters 350 dollar phone was supposed to arrive via priority mail between Dec 19-24-- there is no sign of it! Nor has there been any further tracking info since entering a Elk Grove Village's facility 7 days ago!!! I am livid! Other items I ordered on the same day not going through this facility thank goodness arrived within 3 days! This facility is horrible and what is worse this was my daughter's only Christmas present and all that I could afford!!! Merry Fricking Christmas!

The employees that work the desk at the Elk Grove IL post office don't seem to care, they have no sense of urgency and appear to be assured of their jobs regardless of how they perform. It is sheer aggravation going there.

Well, it's nearly 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve and despite being assured that the Christmas gift I ordered online for my 7 year old grandson would be delivered "between December 19th and December 24th", there is no sign of it. According to USPS tracking, it made it to Elk Grove Village post office and was never seen again. I wish I had come to this site and read all the complaints before trusting that it would be here by Christmas. Don't apologize to me, incompetent Elks Grove Village USPS employees. Apologize to the 7 year old boy who will not be getting what he wanted for Christmas because you couldn't handle your job.

Elk Grove Village mail sorting facility is the worst one in the nation. I am serious. I shipped things all over the country and have been recorded the results. The problem is they just don't care. What a shame when the authority would not do anything to improve their performance. Shame shame shame.

After 8 days and no update the post office is willing to admit that my Priority 2 Day Package that is still "Arrived at USPS Origin Facility" at this post office is lost. Sadly it was a one of a kind CNC milled device that cannot be reproduced. And though I can probably get my money back...they have stolen from me.



2nd package USPS has lost in 4 weeks.\

Over 5 days and my item is "still in transit". Customer Service can't even put my case through because their system is down. From the looks of these other reviews sounds like it's never arriving... I didn't even have a choice on the shipping option but if I had I would have never shipped USPS. Beware!

From the time my 2-day Priority mail left my local post office and was sorted and departed Elk Grove Village sorting facility was 27 hours. An additional 31 hours until it left the sorting facility in Des Moines IA for it's destination post office for delivery in the Des Moines suburb. The PO map shows a 2 day delivery time for this zip from mine. That's 3 days for delivery and it cost me money for being a day late. So much for 2-day Priority Mail. It's no faster than 1st class because it gets stuck in sorting facilities for over a day at a time.

After trying to contact this facility to find my package I was literally told "oh well" over the phone at this sorting center. I then called the customer service line and explained the situation again (1st class international package tracked until it departed this facility, no time stamp, no updates for several days) they immediately opened a case and I'm supposed to hear back tomorrow. The sort facility said oh well because according to the tracking services it was no longer at their facility however I found it every odd that it was updated without a time stamp like every other location had. Something tells my I'm never going to get my package. This place needs a serious overhaul.

Worst usps facility EVER! If you see your item is in Elk Grove usps facility be prepared to wait a whole week or even more to receive your item. Horrible and painfully slow!

one star is too much... it looks like they never work normally.

My wife mailed a 2-day priority card last Saturday. The envelope is the perfect size to mail cards such as birthday cards and gift cards. She put a $50 gift card in it and mailed it to her sister in Washington. When her sister never received it, we tracked it and found that it never left the Elk Grove Village post office. Someone there probably felt the envelope and could feel the gift card, so they stole it. My wife who has had 3 major strokes and is disabled is crying because she bought that birthday card and was saving it for 2 years to give to her sister for her birthday this year. It appears that people who work in the Elk Grove Village post office are very dishonest people.

I would give 0 star if that possible. One shiny star is way too much for USPS. I have no idea how they still running the business! My 2 day priority 50$ insured package is sorted at this facility. I called and ask help to get my package from USPS workers who are really pigs. Feels like i'll never get my package! Never gonna use USPS again. Rather pay more and loyol to my UPS!!!

my package from Netherlands was sorted at this facility and they stole 2 pairs of shoes(jordan it is) and some of my baby's clothes!

Terrible terrible terrible people with no competency to do any work. Worse than monkeys. If I had a choice, USPS would not be it. I have no reason to give them money just so that they fail at their job at my expense.

Very bad service quality, this should be reviewed intensively so that they feel the pressure to put everythin in order.
