You have the laziest mail carriers in the world very very lazy. It is a bother for them to do their job correctly

Like others package stuck here for 5 days. I live Southern Wisconsin, package was shipped from Elgin Il., about 65 miles. 7 days now for a 2 day priority package and still no movement. Post office customer service is none existent and their prices are going up and their service is getting worse. I contacted the business and told them I will no longer order from them if USPS is the only shipping option. Fedex or UPS would have delivered the next day. I'm going to contact my congressman, this needs to be fixed.

Please update the tracking information about "Your item departed our USPS facility in ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL 60007 on January 10, 2015 at 7:24 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination" . So far no updated.

I mailed a two day priority package and the tracking shows "Your item departed our USPS facility in ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL 60007 on March 5, 2015 at 7:23 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination."
But this message is showing for past 5 days and no further update on my package the expected delivery date was Friday March 6th 2015.
I am scared after reading reviews that the packages are stolen at this facility. Why can't the authorities check up this facility for stolen packages???
Who should I report this facility to ?? FBI?? or Police??

Got to the EGV PO at 5pm and noticed a line out the door with only one clerk (a day after a holiday so naturally it was super busy). Since I only live a minute down the street I figured I'd come back right before they close at 6pm. I get back at about 5:45pm and the line is even longer (still only one clerk working). I finally get to the clerk at around 6:30 (a full 30 minutes after they close) and angrily attempt to leave only to notice that the stupid, inept, do-nothing "manager" had locked us in. That's right, I could not even leave the post office!. I ask the clerk to get the manager to unlock the door and she says "you have to wait, he'll unlock it after the next customer is done".... UNBELIEVABLE. They would only unlock it for every 2-3 people that were attended to by the terrible, useless, emotionless clerk. (This is not only the most frustrating thing after you've been in line for close to an hour, it is also against fire code, It is ILLEGAL)



This is the worst establishment that I've ever been to. Everything from the service, appearance, management, out of date information, things that were labeled wrong, things in the wrong place, etc (believe me, the list goes on) . 1 Star is a compliment, your establishment and the people that work there are worthless

Terrible service. My mail comes after 5:00 pm everyday. Today is windy..I went to my box, the door was open and half the mail was sticking out! I get my neighbors mail and pkgs. at least every other week. I waited for an envelope for 2 wks. First it went to egv po. then it went to Park Forest, finally I got it today !! Really ?? They need to be investigated. Do I have to call Walter Jacobson ? Get it together.

HORRIBLE service. I am waiting for a letter that has been shipped from Poland. It took three days to get to the US from Europe and now it has been stuck in Elk Grove Village IL since September 6th and it is September 12th. I live 20 miles away from Elk Grove Village. I tried to call USPS customer service, but I have been unsuccessful so far. They do not answer their phones. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE.

My package is being help hostage here for the last 5 days and every time I look to track my package the tracking says Elk Grove Village. Tried calling the USPS mailing sorting but they apparently have never learned to answer a phone. When will they let my package no longer be a hostage at this horrible place that needs to be shut down.

I've never had any issues at the PO in Chicago 60634 in the 8 years Ive lived there but the PO in Elk Grove Village 60007 must have inept employee's that really dont care.

Track the package this morning and says

"SORTING COMPLETE @ 8:52AM" and usually after that update it says "Out for Delivery" but not this time. Well, the next update is "Delivery attempted, Business Closed" 7:02PM. Business closed my arse. We are open 24/7 Monday-Friday. We have 2 admins that work until 5PM and I waited for this package until 8PM after the admins left.

We have security cameras all over the place especially the 2 main gates and I checked the video and guess what...No one ever showed up to try and deliver the package.

Very frustrating...Sorry had to vent.

TERRIBLE!!! Packages go in. But never come out. This place is corrupt. This whole state is corrupt. Rod Blagojevich (former governor of Illinois for 6 years) was elected into congress representing parts of Chicago before he was sentenced to 14 years in FEDERAL PRISON for corruption. It is of no surprise to me that my very expensive package has turned up missing at this location (no more than an hour from Chicago). These people will get theirs. It is only a matter of time. 0 starts if I had the option. Elk Grove Village, YOU SUCK!

I've had several packages get stuck in this facility for no reason. Poor management. Poor work ethics.

Someone needs to shut this facility down. This isn't the 1st time I have had a package get stuck there. And receive it way past the delivery date. So much for priority shipping thru the Post Office. From now on I will ship another way. Like the other customers have said. 1 star is way to many for this facility.

My priority mail package has been held at this facility since March 27, 2015. The IG inspectors should perform investigations at this USPS facility as there are so many incidents with lost packages.

My package left before three hours were up. Best place ever. Employees know what they're doing.

I have a package sitting there since 3/20/15. It said it should be delivered by 3/23/15. It is 3/24/15 and it hasn't even left there! What's worse? There isn't any way to contact them!

They had my package for 2 days before it departed I am scared it didn't depart still waiting for it to check in somewhere else.

This place needs some new management or something it's honestly so slow. I ordered something on 03/02/2015 and it was three day shipping. I didn't get the package until 3/11/2015! Like is that a joke. They really need to up their game. I will never purchase from a website that uses usps because this is honestly ridiculous.

Seriously what is going on here? I was supposed to receive some important parts for an airsoft replica on Saturday. The USPS truck just passed today, make that BUSINESS DAY #6 on a THREE-DAY shipment. I wanted to have my replicas up and running for the weekend, but NO, these morons are just holding onto it, taking their sweet time. I knew once I saw that my package headed to Elk Grove, I died inside, because I've gotten my stuff over a week late from this place more than once. These guys are hired to do their job right, every other sorting facility does their job but this one.

I order my stuff on the 3rd it got here on the 7 in I still ain't got nun

I send a package to USIS and inside the package had a letter from the doctor and that letter was sent to my doctor, but the package has stopped for a week in the office and not updated or anything, he seems to have opened the package and got out the letter from my doctor but the package not to come to immigration issues is standing in this office and nobody helps me , I call USPS and I opened a case of research but do not call me back. Help plsss
