Overall

I've been going for yrs. mainly for the crab legs but I've decided I am done. I've had dissatisfaction over the yrs but still remained a loyal customer. I've been paying adult prices for my granddaughter since she was 8 yrs old because of their rule that if a child is over a certain height level they are considered an adult. That is now 7 yrs I've been paying adult prices for her. What really got me was last night my grandson and his girlfriend went to eat. Dinner price for Saturday is $16.99. It was near closing and not all the food was out. When they got their bill they were charged $55 and change. They definitely took advantage. I am done with their ways. It is not worth it.

Overall

It is overpriced and they rarely serve crab legs. Very limited options. The front desk lady named Cindy Chem was very rude and unreasonable. She just wanted people pay for crap and showed no respect to her customers. We had almost the same experience as the one in the review before mine. When we asked her to show us price list or any document to prove her statement "you can't eat only seafood" in the "buffet". She yelled "You don't need to see any document, because I said so!" She is crazy! Warnings!!! Never go to there! Unless you would like to pay $20 for a dirty face and food you can get for $10.

The only reason I gave one star is because of the friendly waitress that was there..



And I never write reviews... I only read them from other people before teying a restaurant.. But I really had to write this review.. It was THAT BAD.



This is my second time eating at this seafood buffet. The first time was ok so I decided to bring along two of my friends for dinner the second time around. They have a great selection of seafood, and the taste is not bad. There was no crablegs, so we asked the lady to get some for us. She came out with 2 plates of crablegs and told us that was all they have. So I said, ok. That's fine. Then we had sushi, which was standard taste, and a plate of steamed crabs. As we got to our table, the lady from the front desk asked us "ARE YOU EATING ALL SEAFOOD?" we said yes.. Because their food was mainly seafood... The lady said "IF YOU EAT ALL SEAFOOD, I WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE YOU 19.99 INSTEAD OF 14.99" very rudely, in a high pitch tone. So I said, isn't this a seafood buffet? She replied with "well you can't eat all seafood if you will not pay 19.99". They did not have this price on their list. So im guessing the lady just made this price up. But we said ok fine, charge us 19.99, as long as you give us more crablegs than 2 plates for 3 people! Then she said "YOU ARE LUCKY YOU GET 2 PLATES, SOME PEOPLE ONLY GETS ONE!" Then she starts yelling at the poor waitresses, speaking in Chinese, probably telling them why they gave us the crablegs in the first place... So me and my friends just let it go, then as we were getting more food, the same lady from the front desk and another guy keeps staring at us checking out what we are eating. So I came to the front desk and ask them wheres our crablegs since they are making us pay $5 more per person. The guy told us WELL WE HAVE RULES HERE. YOU CANNOT EAT ALL THE SEAFOOD YOU WANT. SEAFOOD IS VERY EXPENSIVE! I asked the guy, if you had rules, you should post it so people will know that THEY CANNOT EAT ALL THE SEAFOOD THEY WANT IN A SEAFOOD "buffet". Key word is BUFFET! Then the guy asked us HOW MUCH ARE YOU WILLING TO PAY? I CAN ASK THEM TO MAKE MORE CRABLEGS. I was in shock. Are you serious right now? Why would someone talk to their customer like that?



Omg. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I never had experience like this in other restaurants and buffets ive been to.. I am Asian as well and I know asian people are one of the nicest people, but the lady and the guy here at their front desk are the most rude and mean people here in this restaurant. We will never come back here again. EVER! And I will tell my family and friends not to come here again. There are other seafood buffets in East Brunswick that offers great food and service. Ex: Makkolli.



I don't understand why this is a seafood buffet if you cannot eat all the seafood you want. Can someone explain this to us? Because the workers there cannot explain it to us...



P.s. They still charged us 19.99 a person even though they did not give us more crablegs that we had asked for.

Overall

The food was good but the table clearers were rude. They stood in the path way. I was putting

extra sauce on my food and the girl took the spoon out of my hand. When they brought the bill the stood next to our table until I signed the slip. Will never go back
