Horrible experience! If you're looking for transparency, empathy and compassion you'll not find it here. You will never see the same vet twice. bigger seems to be the new, I want your money. This was a very bad choice, especially with a clinic on every corner.

Absolutely love this vet-they treat your pets very well, do not suggest unnecessary tests and help you get to a good treatment plan! Also, they are …
We have been going to D.A.H. for a number of years. Dr. Holson is like family and has treated our schnauzers in good and bad times. We highly recommend D.A.H.. In fact, we travel from Dallas Georgia. There maybe closer Vet Services but few that treat you like family.
We left our dog for 5 night boarding stay. Everything were fine till day 3 that we could not see her on any of the cameras entire day, we call them next day after still we couldn’t see her and they told us that she is stressed and they give her extra time out (No explanation about day before) and of course after a few minutes she appears in Cameras! Long story short, the day that we went to pick her up they told us “they just notice” scratch on her muzzle and they think is happen because she was putting her nose through fence. When they brought her to us, 1) that wasn’t scratch, it was wound size of Dolor coin. 2) It wasn’t new; it was at least couple of days old (which probably when they gave her timeout). 3) They did not treated the wound and it was getting infected. 4) Most importantly they FAIL to notify us.My main issue with this place is the way they handle the incident not why it happens. Also, we sent Email with the picture to owner of place and NOTHING (no response, no explanation, and no reply).
Laura has been looking after my crew of 12 personal pets and fosters/rescues for over two years now. I am a VERY picky pet parent and she is the only one who has been able to meet my rigorous requirements, AND she does it with a smile! She has vet tech experience so I know my "special needs" kitties are well cared for. I am eternally grateful for her professionalism and attention to detail as I do have a complex set of instructions for my "kids." I can take much-needed vacations and I never have to worry about missed visits or incomplete care. She's absolutely the best!
Camp Bow Wow Duluth has been a God-send for me and my dog, Margie. She loves it and I love that she is watched over and very well taken care of while she is there. My cats even love it because when Margie comes home, she is too tired to chase them! Everyone in my house loves Camp Bow Wow!
I recently took my 10 year old dog there for a trial day to see if it was a good fit. He had never been in a day care setting before because we didn't have a need before. The staff was great the answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease leaving him. They kept a close eye on him til he showed signs of being comfortable. When I picked him up he didn't want to leave. He was tired for two days. We will be returning again when we leave for vacation in a few months.
I am a former customer. To be honest, my dogs loved the place. They were always excited to go (they knew in the morning when I got their leashes), were happy when they got there, and the staff treated my dogs very well. They got to know my dogs and their personalities. This made it very easy for me to want to bring them there, and the facility on technical basis is superb. Top Notch. With that being said, the reason for my poor star rating was because while the staff treated my dogs very well, they treated me very poorly as a customer. This attitude starts with the owner (who I have no personal connection with, so there is no personal vendetta) and permeates down to the managers and the store staff.Collectively, the staff had a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde type of way to treating me as a customer. Friendly and helpful one minute, sarcastic and rude the next. [The owner was predominately leaning towards Mr. Hyde] In addition, when any issue would arise, and on technical terms it was established that the staff/company were at fault, they would attempt to turn it around on me in some manner to put the blame on me, even though nobody could dispute the facts. They would also hide behind the mantra of "company policy" about EVERYTHING, even when the facts clearly established that they were at fault. It got to where I dreaded going to pick them up or drop them off because I felt that I had to walk on egg shells. I kept doing so because for my pets, and as I mentioned above, they were extremely good towards my dogs, and my dogs loved going there, and there was no comparative and viable alternative in the area.If you can deal with excellent facilities, but very poor customer service, your pets will find a good place. If you can't deal with poor customer service, you may want to take your business elsewhere to avoid frustration and the anxiety bound to arise.
My dog loves it, which means she is treated well and she has fun there. I recommend Camp Bow Wow Duluth to every dog person I know!
I have recently had the pleasure of taking my dog, Elvis, to Camp Bow Wow in Duluth. The staff was exceptionally courteous, so I was impressed immediately. The professionalism of the staff put me at ease since I was a little apprehensive with this being my first visit. Elvis had a fabulous time! I was appreciative that all the details about the whole "first time experience" had been laid out to me in a very detailed manner. We have been back several times now and have made the camp a regular part of our weekly schedule. Now, I look at Elvis and say "Camp Bow Wow???" and he tilts his head and then goes nuts with excitement. I cant put into words how happy that makes me. Now, I finally feel like I can travel and know that Elvis is having the time of his life, as well. Thank you so much for making me such a happy pet owner!!!
