Raul uses clients cars for months damaging getting tickets he is a criminal that needs to be stopped
Took business to small claims and won. It was the final solution to dealing with the worst business transaction in the history of the world. I took my 65 Chevy Impala convertible to Raul Boat & RV Upholstery to replace my seats and my convertible top. They did a splendid job on my car. Mr. Raul was a great help to get all my parts for my convertible top frame. I was really pleased with his customer service and profession work. The way my car looks now it looks like a show car. I highly recommend to make a stop at Raul's Boat & RV Upholstery if you need any work done on any vehicle. Thanks Raul!
I took my boat 2010 chaparral to be re upholtersterd all seats and install a boat cover. I am really satisfied with the job and service. I will recommendd it highly. Thank yiu.
Around the first of September 2016, I dropped off a wooden arm chair and 5 yards of fabric for Rico's to make two rectangular cushions and a fabric pad to sit between the bottom cushion and the springs. I was told it would take 3 weeks which didn't happen. In December 2016, I was told my chair was ready and went to pick it up. I had paid in full at this visit to the shop as I thought it was complete until I lifted up the seat cushion and saw the spring pad not completed. I was told to give it a week and the chair would be done. In late December 2016 when I called Rico's, I was told that they were re-placing a part of the seat spring which was never mentioned until now and they were waiting for a part to arrive and this would be about a week. About 3 weeks after that I stopped in to pick up my chair, it was not complete. I told them I was taking it with me as is. I was told that the part they needed wasn't in yet. I attempted to find out what they were talking about and found out it needed an eye hook which can be purchased at any hardware store. Before walking out the door, I remembered to grab the remaining fabric. I saw my fabric being used on someone else's project in the work area. They initially argued with me saying it wasn't mine. I told them that it was a special order fabric and that they didn't carry JoyBird products. After they looked for my remaining fabric it couldn't be found and they finally admitted to making a mistake after I threatened to get the Better Busness Bureau and police involved. Rico's was using a fabric I paid for another customer's project without my permission. Rico's agreed to pay me for 2 yards of fabric that they had zero permission from me to use on someone else's project. I would never never use this business again and was completely fed up with their lying. I generally want to support local businesses but I have zero respect for this one and its workers.
We used Roul's company to replace the carpet in our van. It was a complete nightmare. When we got it they had broken part of the flooring and tried to blame us but I luckily had before photos. The part costs $600 to replace. Not only that but we kept finding loose screws throughout the van. The carpet was not glued down in several places and was fraying on the stow and go because they used carpet that was too thick. And the didn't screw the seat belt back into the floor of the car so we had a completely useless seat belt which in my opinion is unacceptable and unsafe. We told him about the above mentioned items and he at first said he would replace the part and fix everything but he never did so we asked for 1/2 the cost back and sent him a self addressed stamped envelope. He said he would pay us that amount. We have called several times and each time he says he will mail a check but alas we have never seen the check. I would never use or recommend this company to anyone.
I gave them one star because I had to to make this review. I showed up with my boat and was promised 5X my interior would be done I cancelled 2 out-of-state trips because the interior was not done. And when I got my interior back all my old straps we're screwed to my brand new interior then I was promised my straps would be delivered at a certain time and had to cancel another out-of-state trip I would not recommend these guys to anyone they are nothing but Liars and when I did get my straps he asked for nothing but cash! So now I or he has a record of this whole transaction. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!!!
This has been the worse experience in my life. He has had my car for 5 months now. Shouldn't take this long to get a new rag top put on. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO HIM! EVER!

Not at all happy with refinish job done on 5 antique oak chairs. Did not return chairs timely and only did so after I repeatedly hasseled him. Chairs had been a soft old oak color, had some rough spots along edges of wood, one was missing a rung, and all were missing cover over hole in center of seat, which I wanted replaced with leather. Chairs returned to me were still rough and snagged everything, were stained special walnut so no longer match table. Leather work and replace rung done okay. So I was charged $300 per chair for slapping a coat of dark stain on wood and adding leather. Now I will need to smooth edges myself, restain, and still be unhappy with the color.
