I purchased windows and a sliding glass door from Champion in early 2013. I went with them, even though they were more expensive than the other companies I received quotes from, because the windows have two locks vs just one and they have a 'Non-Prorated Lifetime Warranty'. All of the employees that I have dealt with have been polite and professional, so I wish I could give the company a better review, but unfortunately... So, fast forward a few years, and the door handle on the sliding glass door started to wiggle something awful. When I called, I was informed that although the door is under warranty and they have stopped using the handle due to 'issues', they charge a $99 service charge. I chose to deal with the wiggly handle. In early 2018, the door handle completely broke. The metal had sheared off by the installation screws and it needed to be cut off the door. They replaced it with the current handle & locking mechanism with no hassle (other than charging me $99 to replace a part that they admitted was faulty) but left the door jam unfinished with screw holes up and down it. All in all, I paid almost $7500 for windows and door from a company that sells faulty parts & then charges you another $100 to replace them instead of recalling them...

Jeff Clark took our deosit and funds for a job that he never returned to complete. After several attempts to work it out with him, he never returned and will not honor the verbal agreement he made. Hire Jeff if you want a job half done, your house in chaos and an empty poctet book.
My wife purchased a brand new home from Gallup Development in July 2017. A week later muddy water began pouring inside finished basement, saturating carpet and penetrating woodwork and walls. Foundation had given away next to house. A few weeks after foundation started caving in on same side of the house in a different area. Then, another issue arose shortly thereafter when water began leaking inside master bedroom that is located on 2nd floor, soaked carpet and ruined baseboard. Another major defect is that on hot days central A/C will only cool top floor to around 84 degrees, and bedrooms on 2nd floor are almost as bad. Builder said “that is a matter of comfort” and refuses to do anything to address the problem. Now that it is winter, on two cold days bedrooms upstairs will not heat to above 64 degrees. This was again reported to the builder with a plea to address. Gallup refuses to do anything. There is no hot water available in the master bathtub. This was reported to the builder. I’m guessing that this is a matter of comfort as well. Now, the siding is warping and bowing all over the house. This was reported to the builder, along with a request that the builder arrange a meeting with the manufacturer of the siding so that proper repairs can be made and warranty remains valid. Builder refuses to cooperate and will not respond. Now, paint has started peeling off exterior areas of the house. It is only a few months old! This has been reported to the builder as well. My wife has now engaged an attorney because of the builder’s refusal to stand behind his product. Be very, very leery of this builder.
Horrible company...they lie, lie and lie so they do not have to pay their bills. Then, they flare out at you when you request monies due to you. BAD BAD BAD business and probably not even legal citizens.
R. Grace Construction LLC was very knowledgeable on materials needed for the project and they were honest about there thoughts on my project and had a lot of good suggestions for me. Great company to work with.
My family and I closed on our home on January 25, 2016 after more than 6 months of delays. After closing we have had nothing but problems with customer care and our warranty. Our customer care representative doesn't reply to emails and disregards them, and now after waiting for our yards to be done for more than 4 months after we were told they would be done Oakwood cant even give me a date of when they plan on getting them done. They have had our money to get our yards done since January and now in the end ou June we still don't know when they plan on getting their act together standing by their word and finishing our yards. I incurange anyone who is thinking on buying form Oakwood to really reconcider before making that decition or you will regret it for many years to come. I know I have. It is amazing the lack of care for making sure that a home they built and sold is in good condition and that they give the buyer everything they PAID for in a reasonable time.

Excellent, responsive, professional work--and at a very good and competitive price! Their windows are great quality and have really made the difference in our home. James is prompt and courteous, and their turnaround time is much better than many companies, especially the big ones. It's nice getting products and services from a smaller, local company that cares about the work they do and is respectful of everyone's time and all the steps involved. They also did some "custom" work on our mudroom, with new windows and replacing vinyl siding and gutters, and that worked out great, too (with the exception of some gutter foibles due to historic storms last May and a slight delay in installation, but that was all resolved in good time, and with appropriate diligence by the company). Basically at every step James and the company was informative, kind, professional and easy to deal with. We'd definitely use them again and can highly recommend them!
