They are more than happy to collect your money. Their customer service is non existent. After installation sink leaks and backsplash wasn’t cut properly. They never showed up for the 2nd scheduled installation nor did they call. Do not waste your time or money on this company. They perform shoddy work and do not honor their contract.
The same day of install I discovered two cracks. One in the bar area both on top and bottom. The second on the piece of slab beneath it. We pointed it out to the installers who spoke very little English and they told me to contact Granite Depot. When the installers we're getting ready to leave I wrote on the form they had me sign saying that the work has been completed that there were cracks in those two areas before I signed it and immediately called Granite Depot to see how they could rectify the situation. I spoke with the customer service manager Jennifer that day who asked me to take pictures and to email them to her and someone would get back to me within 3 to 5 business days. Well a week passed and I had to make a call to see what was going to happen. Jennifer’s response was that according to the pictures, the cracks appear to be fissures and that they could send somebody to make “repairs.” When we spoke to Jennifer about the repair she told us that after speaking to her manager they would replace the bar area but would not replace the lower area as they insist it is a fissure. We also noticed a new crack that appeared after they made repairs to the other side of the counter top next to our stove that was not there before. We have made it clear that we would like those pieces to be replaced and they have told us they would replace the bar area but are not willing to replace the other part. Several phone calls over the past few weeks to the head manager Robie have gone unanswered. We are currently waiting to hear from them as to when they're going to repair the bar area as they are trying to locate the rest of the slab that we had used. We will update once we receive a response from Granite Depot to see if they are going to rectify this situation or if we are going to court and the Better Business Bureau. Right now I would not recommend using them due to poor customer service and shoddy work.
Quote from the owner after I told him the soap dispenser was not only not installed, but his guys drilled the hole too close to the sink...."We drill the hole where we are told and unfortunately once the holes are drilled theirs not much you can do. The soap dispenser bladder looks very large, I suggest getting a smaller one."If you want that type of customer service, use THESE guys!!!
Stone Crafters helped me through everything from choosing the color and style to the install of the finished product. If your looking to update your kitchen or bathroom etc they will help you with every step to get what you want.
We drove from Thornton on Saturday looking for granite for our vanity. We were very disappointed in the service we received. The two sales ladies (if you want to call them ladies) we encountered were rude and one was plan nasty to us. My husband asked one of them if they had a tape measure he could use and she literally threw it at him. Not one time did any of the sales staff acknowledge us being there. The only nice staff we encountered there was the lady at the main entrance and one of the gentleman working in the warehouse (he tried to get us some help). We waited for an hour (again no acknowledgement from sales) before we walked out. I went to work on Monday and told everyone about our experience. I heard the same response, people who went there said the sales rep's were rude. I personally think Dave Logan should reconsider having this company on his list until they learn customer service!
I was scheduled today for a 9-11 a.m. window, install of a granite counter top. At 10:45 I AM calling THEM to ask where the installers were. I was told that they were doing someones kitchen, and that they would then arrive at 1 p.m.. Well it is 3:15 p.m. and they are a NO SHOW.All, I am told that was a scheduling miscommunication. They were first alerted by my calling @ 10:45, this should have been rectified 4 hours ago!THIS, after having sold the rest of OUR huge piece of granite (105" x 54"), that we intended to use the remainder (less 26"x98") for another project, that they had at their shop. Offering only the 'minimum' (21"x48" - next counter) as a 'replacement'. Excuse me?NEVER AGAIN! (BTW a 'top' local name in granite counter top sales, initials GD, uses these fabricators)
Granite Depot sells lemons! If you buy slabs from Granite Depot, they send your slabs up the road to Stone Crafters to fabricate. It's a total scheme and rip off! Whomever is purchasing these slabs for these places knows how to rip people off! Like this business model: Buy the crappiest high end cars you can find for pennies in other countries. Have the same high end but aesthetically beautiful cars advertised for a "blow out sale" on your lot (blow out= marked down from extremely overpriced to just overpriced). Let consumers come marvel at the beautiful selection of inventory you have available for them to purchase and put in their very own garage. Pressure them to sign the bottom line at all costs as quickly as possible and once they have, send them the high end car of their dreams, but not the one they saw and picked at the showroom! Instead, make a few extra bucks for yourself and keep your beautiful showroom inventory to bait another consumer while you send them the crappy, falling apart version of the car they selected. Then when the customer calls complaining that they're dumbfounded that a company would ever think they can operate this way, pretend you're preoccupied!
Do not use these people. They are rude, uncaring, and rip off insurance companies. There is no parking.
terrible experience that cost me money and time, instead of admitting the they lost the slab or resold the slab i payed for, they kept delaying the install. I finally said i would install it myself and they tried to paun some other slab off on me. Before they had my money they were friendly and polite, once they had it they were rude, hard to reach and ultimately a total fail. Beware! read the negative reviews carefully before considering this company.
DON'T SIGN the CONTRACT!!! If I could give zero stars I would! This place is very pushy and over priced! After being pushed into signing a contract and giving a deposit, and being told that I could come back with better measurements of my kitchen and then pick out the exact granite I wanted, I was given a quote. When I called back and said that I did not want to move forward and would like a refund, at this point NO work had been done, I'm told they don't give refunds! It is in the very small print of the contract I was pushed into signing. When asked what work am I paying for they can't answer the question. No one there will give you any explanation as to why they can't refund my money other than you signed a contract! But no work has been done!! I believe that people should be paid for work performed but nothing has been done. I find this contract and their business practices to be very shady and down right criminal!! Go somewhere else, don't give these people your money!!!!
