Do not hire — you’ll be waiting a long time to swim.... poor communications, never on the job, takes your money and runs
I have been living here for two years with my two small children. When I first moved here, there was a lot of families around (considering the location is directly across from an Elementary school). Since, almost all of the families have moved away and the turnover is extremely high. I stayed here because at the time I was in school, and I couldn't afford to move at the time. However, these apartments have gone down tremendously. They seem to rent to anyone. There's always someone driving through at night bumping loud music. People are constantly hanging out in the street area and breezeways. There is always the smell of marijuana in the air and empty cigarillo packs left on the ground. Trash at the mailbox and the dump at the entrance is always overflowing. The gates are always open and one is actually off the hinges (because someone rammed it). Someone was robbed in broad daylight at gunpoint. There has been drug activity (people selling drugs, smoking marijuana, etc.). I have found bullets on the staircase. Urine and vomit remained on the staircase/breezeways for months despite several reminders to the staff. The office staff NEVER answers the phone and is often closed during business hours. The apartment complex also requires you to use particular companies for cable, internet, etc. based on contracts they have with the companies to save them money; just for those contracts to end and the apartment charges you to transition to a new company despite your cooperation throughout! I would NOT recommend this place to anyone! I cannot wait until my lease is up so I can move myself and my children to a more suitable environment. On second thought, it's probably worth breaking my lease and paying the additional fees! DON'T MOVE HERE!!!
