This mask helps to protect against certain contaminants. It may not eliminate the risk of contracting disease or infection. It is not intended to replace N95 masks. Safety Mask Features and Specifications The PPE 3-Ply Barrier Safety Masks utilize a spun bond, non-woven liquid repellent material, a special air filtration media and a soft, comfortable cotton fabric. The 3-Ply layers of protective barriers prevent large particle droplets, splashes, sprays, splatters, and harmful airborne particles (viral and bacterial) from reaching your nose or mouth. The Masks have undergone rigorous testing by numerous health systems, infectious disease specialists, and have passed all washing tests for sterilization. They have been subjected to multiple washings at 170 degrees in industrial and home washing machines, machine dried on low heat, and reused the next day. They are available in both Ties and Elastic Straps.
