Medical Arts Dermatotogy

I went to the office in the summer of 2015...it was decided I needed a photo dynamic therapy treatment...I asked if insurance would cover...they replied they needed to obtain approval, we waited the result. Later I was scheduled for December. I asked about insurance and was told it was covered..I may need to pay a portion for the medicine...a few days after the visit the office informed me I needed a referral from a MD...as this was after the fact it was not possible....today I received a bill for 320.00 and according to the bill none of the actual therapy was covered and I am to stand for the payment. Not very professional, ethical, or honest; but I was raised during a time when a persons word mattered. Caution here...in the future I will get everything in writing prior to treatment.
