just had new granite and a new sink installed in the kitchen and I am quite satisfied with the workmanship. However, communication from the front office isn't quite up to par. I received a call yesterday (less than 24 hours prior to installation) to tell me somebody forgot to call me to let me know the backsplash had not been factored in to the cost; therefore, more granite that equals more money. Being a little miffed I requested a $100 credit to compensate me with this late information. After some back and forth my total bill was reduced by $100. I just realized the workmen did not leave drain stoppers for the divided sink. I was informed that is an extra charge; they don't come with the sink and they forgot to tell me!!! How is that possible?Needless to say I will direct potential customers elsewhere. I should have been offered the discount when they called yesterday and now they should give me the stoppers for their poor communication.
After suffering with tile and grout counter tops with moldy and crumbling grout for 15 years, I bit the bullet and went for all granite counter tops on all 61 square feet of my kitchen, along with a grout-less off white brick back splash. The cost was $35.00 per square foot and I am very pleased with the installation and it has transformed by kitchen into a welcome and attractive site.
