HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!! they leave your trash in the drive way. come at all different time of the day. The invoices say make sure your trash is out by 8:00 am and when i go to take the trash out at 7:30am they already went by. When I called to complain the VERY UNPROFESSIONAL RECEPTIONIST laughed and said well you should just do it the night before. I am an extremely disappointed customer and I have talked to a manager multiple times. THIS BUSINESS DOES NOT CARE! I have had them for 4 months and they have forgotten to pick up my trash 6 times! The company claims that the drivers return your trash cans to the top of the driveway. NEVER have the drivers returned the cans to the top of our drive. They just leave them at the bottom, blocking the driveway. I expressed my concerns and issues with service before paying for the next three months and was assured theses issues would be resolved.Once again TODAY they did not pickup my trash. I called customer service and the lady was rude and got loud with me yelling "I don't know why they didn't pick up your trash, but I see here that you have you have requested to have you service cancelled at the end of this cycle." I asked her if that was reason and was I going to forgotten about until the end of April and she yelled back "I don't know!" I will not continue service with this company and highly recommend that everyone spread the word about companies like these so will stop getting away with horrible service. I wish they would just refund my money, that I had to pay up front for service until the end of April, so I can get out of this awful experience.
I have used Packman for 6 years now, and in the past year, the service has declined; I used to be able to neatly put out items of a reasonable size outside of a trash can and they'd take it (heck, I've seen them take under dressers of an old water bed), not anymore: branches, tv box, chopped up wood, etc. But if I take the time to cram it into a can (which is NOT easier to dump in this form), they do. ??? Just yesterday we put out both; cans and stacked wood with a tv box, along with their xmas gift (2 bottles of hooch). Because they refuse to go beyond and touch anything other than a can, they missed out on the gifts left. By the time we got home, we had to drag the stacked wood and gifts back into the garage. Mind you, I'm a little gal who could easily pick these items up to move... so I don't understand why they don't anymore. Again, been with for 6 years now, but if not in a can, forget about it.
Didn't pick up trash for two weeks and charged late fees. Didn't quite make any sense, so we decided to call the main office. Goodness, they were beyond rude, yelling, and did not care to keep or maintain our business, thus we canceled immediately. In addition, we made an advance payment prior to the phone call and they refused to return it. We had to go through the bank in order to cancel that payment. Ridiculous. Seriously. I now understand why they did not care for a bad review....they already have plenty and I suppose one more doesn't make much of a difference. They even threaten us that they would write a bad review about us if we wrote one about them. Not very professional. At all. Save yourself time, money, and your ears. Not worth the business.
Took us two weeks to get trash bins. We had to chase the drivers down the street. They refused to pick up trash and left it all over the front yard. Called office staff and they were rude, unprofessional and dont care to keep your business.. Don't use unless you want to have to load it up and take it to there facility yourself. They are lazy and disrespectful..NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully not a duplicate review. I love these guys, always put my cans back into my drive, off the street and sidewalk. Always pick up the trash, never a single issue. Highly recommended.
If it was possible to give them no stars I would have. I tried to use their company because I really like to support local and or small business. I think it's important and when living in a small town and having options I thought I would give them a chance. Oh man do I regret that! They told me that they would have a can delivered within three to five days... Eight days later when I call them to ask what is going on they say they will have a can delivered today. I call again with no sign of a can I call at about three in the afternoon knowing that they close at five. They inform me that it will be delivered tomorrow. When I ask to speak to a manager I am passed to Mary who is allegedly the controller. She informs me that I am being difficult and that she will cancel my service for me and refund my money. Apparently with gator rubbish you will get what they give you when they give it to you and like it or they just don't care. Keep in mind that I paid for three months of service upfront (required) and am waiting to see if I get a refund. I am not holding my breath and wouldn't be surprised if I end up taking them to court over it.
This business doesn't want your business! They have absolutely no idea what customer service means and if you get the least bit upset with them lying to you, they turn around and give you attitude right back. Something I learned not to do when I was 20 in the Customer Service Industry. When I pointed out their attitude was unprofessional, they attacked me. So I said I was cancelling my service, and this was greeted with a hearty "Thank you!!" So save yourself the trouble, I found cheaper service with a company that actually knows what customer service means. Then you won't be locked into a contract with them since they don't give refunds either. Yeah, not a great business at all.
Called them to cancel my service because I was moving and to get the pro-rated amount to pay. I was told they don't pro-rate billings and that I must pay the entire quarter because move dates often change resulting in the need to change cancellation dates. I was told I would receive a refund in approximately two months after the account was canceled. I called a second time right after the account was canceled to confirm cancellation and also to confirm that I would be receiving a refund. I did not receive a refund. I called three months later and was told they don't give refunds and that my service should have been pro-rated to my move date. The woman I spoke with wanted to know who I spoke with insisting that they would NEVER would tell a customer what I was told and that they pro-rate billings all the time. She was not convincing and really did not attempt to be genuine. I did not make any accusations, but it was clear to me that she did not seem to care what I thought. She said that they don’t issue refunds when you pay for an entire quarter. She then proceeded to say that they checked with a lawyer to see if their policy was legal and was told it was. She said the lawyer told them that by paying for an entire quarter I had entered into a contract with them for the entire time period and no refund was due.
