This is a great alternative to the chain Mexican places. The food is fresh, well prepared, well presented, and service is fast unless of course the place is slammed on a Friday, but that happens with all Boulder restaurants. Even the house margarita is really good. Chips and salsa are good, but it would be better if they made the chips in-house out of tortillas so they are thick and really crunchy, but that is just my personal taste. As noted there was a hiccup in this business, but Jessica and the original chef are long since back so all is well. Get to know this place and the owners, you will be glad you did.
we just ate appetizers and they were all very tasty. Good price too.
It may seem like a little thing, but my wife and I both thought the iced tea was unusually good at the Three Margaritas in Boulder. We also take for granted that the service will be good and the food delicious. It's a favorite destination.
