I paid Curt Hiebert, dba Hiebert's Home Improvement, to drive to Baker, Mt to give me a quote on replacing an outside wall that had been tornado damaged. I knew his mother, who extolled his abilities. He gave me a quote to R&R the wall that was quite high, but I accepted and told him to bring me a contract. He showed up with a job invoice $2,700 higher still. When I asked for justification, he said materials had gone way up. I thought he was starting as discussed, the following week (still good weather in Nov.). He wanted over $6,000 up front, of the $8,000. Then he didn't start until 12 days after getting my check, after which I couldn't ck on the job due to road closures. I then discovered his work has to be completely torn off and replaced, and my huge pmt was a total loss. He did not even buy the siding contracted for, but put up 4x8 sheets of Masonite which will be absorbing moisture throughout winter snow and spring rain, leaving my heated, rented house susceptible to mold. The only thing professional about Curt Hiebert is as a con artist.
wes, from WCC worked on my restaurant in Colorado 2006 and did interior and installation work and did a superior job and very reasonable price and would strongly recommend this fellow for any kind of wood work and handyman project
Professional, finished all tasks in a timely matter, best finish work iv seen here. Made my crazy thoughts a reality
Curt had torn out my broken windows as I came home for my 30 minute lunch. By the time I was in my car returning to work, had my new windows in! Trimming and all! He also did the siding on my home. It looks better than when I bought it! I was looking at 2 other contractors, but with his prices and energetic spirit, I knew I made the right choice. (Plus, he is pretty cute!)
