This clothing store has terrible customer service. I was shopping with my mother and sister when the sales associate approached me, scanned me up and down and said, 'you might want to try xs but even that would be too small on you if you know what I mean', and she chucked. The interesting thing is I fit a 'small' there. I didn't think much of it and continued browsing around the store. My sister walked into the store and the girl working there quickly approached her to say "you are much too overweight to shop here. We definitely don't carry your size here". Honestly, that is just ridiculously rude. Please train your staff members to respect customers. Customers are very much aware if their size and don't need a constant reminder. Plus, why would anyone want to be rejected and subjected to such rude behaviour? My sister was there to accompany me and pick out outfits for me but we left right away after being disrespected in such a way. In addition, before that sales associate rudely treated my sister, she was chatting to another coworker of hers, I assume, saying "my god, did you see what that girl was wearing? It's hideous!". Gossiping and treating customers poorly; I would be telling all my friends and family to not shop at Maurice's.
