Food was barely palatable. My bf and I sat on the upper deck which apparently has a separate kitchen. I knew we were in trouble the moment I saw the menu and pleaded with my bf for us to go elsewhere. He insisted we give it a try so I did my best not to seem too disgusted. I got the chicken parm. The chicken was dry and bland, sauce was basically canned tomatoes and pasta was stale like it sat under a heat lamp for 8 hours. My bf got some crappy pasta dish that looked presentable but had no flavor at all. You can tell they make nothing from scratch. I worked in fine dinning for a number of years and know a good meal when I see one. I don't know how this place gets away with charging so much and how they managed to have a wait to be seated. The staff was all friendly and helpful. We didn't have the heart to complain but barely ate our food. When we left my bf even admitted the food was horrible. We ended up getting dinner somewhere else that night!
Terrible food, not worth the cost. My husband & I arrived there waiting for 2 more elderly family members. I asked if we could sit near the front of the place, and the guy seated us way in the back--really? I felt like we were ignored...It wasn't until I asked the waitress, Melissa, if we could sit in the front in which we did. The service wasn't the greatest either. Melissa never refilled any of our drinks until one of our family members had to ask for coffee. She seemed very fake, and didn't seem to really care, rather was going "through the motions." The food wasn't the greatest either. My husband and I ordered the "create your own pasta" and it was the blandest food out there...ever. There was no flavor, very disappointing. With four people's food and dessert our bill came to $100. Save your money, and your taste buds. This place does not do Ann Arbor justice. Way overpriced, terrible service, and the food sucks. There are way more better places to eat in Ann Arbor than this place. GROSS!
