I called McCann in the afternoon and had an appointment first thing in the morning the next day. Don, the owner, arrived to my home on time. The job I needed done took less than an hour (with a one hour minimum required) and then he said, "you've got me for the hour, what else do you need done?". The extra things I showed him he was able to fix, like a leaky bathtub that was dripping and causing a hole in my ceiling below. Don was on time, extremely knowledgeable, fixed more than what I initially called about, kind, and informative. I didn't have a plumbing guy before, but I do now and I'm telling all my friends and family about McCann Plumbing and Heating and the excellent work they do and value they provide!

Don... with McCann Plumbing & Heating is knowledgeable, friendly and explain what he is doing and what needs to be done. He performed the PM and replaced some bad parts on my fancy boiler... I was able to schedule it on a Saturday so I did not need to take a vacation day for the same rate as a week day. He is the only one that I will call. Kathleen Plunkett

Sunday morning and I had a bad water leak in the wall! Called Don and he came right over and fixed the problem and stopped the leak. Best thing about Don is he doesn't charge extra for weekend calls. Don is now my plumber and heating guy. Chad

Don McCann was recommended by a friend to replace my condo's boiler. He gave great advice about what equipment to use and why, was very responsive and customer-oriented, and completed the job "artfully!" Now, I'm comfortable my condo is ready to rent! Jodi.

Don McCain was one of two plumbers in Anchorage that was recommended to replace my boiler. I was impressed by Don’s fast response and that he was willing to come out on a Saturday. He was extremely knowledgeable, courtesy and helpful. He even recommended other plumbers to give me estimates on replacing my boiler. He showed me pictures of his work, he is skilled at what he does and it shows!

Best Plumber Ever! They are there, usually, in less than hour, have parts on hand, don't charge overtime - Even when we called at 5:30pm on New Year's Eve with a frozen busted pipe - it was fixed in under an hour.



Very knowledgeable, they have the best brands and most efficient boiler systems available - we have saved $40 -$60 a month on fuel since putting in a Triangle Tube boiler with side arm hot water.

McCann has been our plumber for over 7 years for our home and our rentals, awesome service and availability. Fair prices, honest about what work needs to be done, and leaves the job site clean.

Overpriced compared to other plumbers, really tried to sell me on a new boiler when other plumbers have said it is fine.

MR McCann came and fixed my boiler at 160 an hour that is the highest rate in town and his parts where triple the price of the other plumbers save your self some money and make a few calls

Not customer service oriented, and seemed to rush through the job. I will research a little more next time as I would like the work to last

Owner/operator came within 15 minutes of my call. He assessed the unit and had the correct parts on hand. Fixed everything in less than an hour. I'd say his rates are comparable with other, big name companies I have used but he is more responsive and certainly explains what he is doing and why to my complete satisfaction. I'd use McCann Plumbing in the future.
