        Ciao Italia Ristorante is far from the new kid on the block. Ciao Italia first opened it's doors in Whittier on August 29, 2007 as Ciao Italia Panini Grill. Exclusively selling Grilled Panini and fresh salads. It was a total success and people loved it. Ciao is truly a family affair, we believe that as business owners you have to be present & involved for your business to succeed and because of that Maurizio is always there to greet you and make sure that all is well, and Rosanna is in the kitchen taking care of your food. Originally from Calabria, Italy they have always had a passion for cooking, whether it was for family or a group of friends; and now we have expanded our Panini Shop to a full home style Ristorante! Our goal is for you to enjoy true Italian cooking, not fancy, but real home style dishes. When you dine at Ciao its like being home, you not only get great food and service, you also get a little bit of Italy each time. From the artwork and pictures on the walls to the photo-books of family vacations & a true Italian passion of soccer and Italian television. Ciao is best described as authentic and fresh. From the best Panini that all are freshly made to order with imported deli meats, to great salads, traditional pizza, pasta, meat, and seafood dishes that are from true family recipes. Butter or cream are never used in any of our cooking. Extra virgin olive oil, locally made fresh Mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes are just to name a few are ingredients that are a must at Ciao Italia.Espresso & Cappuccino are made with one of Italy's finest coffee, creamy and flavorful. Homemade Cannoli & Tiramisu are always on the menu along with a variety of Italian Gelato-based desserts straight from Italy. Let's not forget our great Wine & Beer list to satisfy everyone.
