I've been here many times and the sushi chefs are great. The atmosphere is your more common party vibe that a lot of sushi joints are going for nowadays. Loud music playing, sushi chefs hollering a lot for showmanship, television, etc. All that's great but the floor service is slow and can vary from inattentive to bordering on rude. The floor servers are a couple of older japanese women and maybe they are just tired all the time. I'm not sure, but sadly, this diminishes from the overall dining experience. In short, if you do visit Sushi from East sit at the bar if you can and prepare yourself to wait long or even have to repeat your orders for beverages or anything else you may want aside from the sushi.
