When you purchase beef from a grocery store, you don't know where it comes from, what the cow was fed, how it was raised or if it was given growth enhancing chemicals such as steroids or hormones. With Angus Beef Company Of Nevada you will know that: Our cattle are raised on our family ranch in beautiful Smith Valley, Nevada. Our cattle roam the 140 acres, free to graze in a low stress environment. Stressing cattle produces inferior meat. Our cattle possess quality genetics that produce naturally marbled, tender and flavorful cuts of beef. Our cattle are never given hormones or artificial growth stimulants. All cattle are grass fed, then finished with a proprietary grain/oat diet for 70 days(grain finished beef) or finished with alfalfa for our grass fed clients. Our cattle are processed at UNR Wolf Pack Meats, a USDA inspected facility located in Reno, Nevada. The cuts of beef are vacuum packed in clear packaging and flash frozen to assure freshness for up to one year. Our grain finished cattle are aged for 21 days while our grass finished cattle are aged for 10 days.
