Beware of this business. Past repair work on my BMW was faulty, vehicle seized up and had to be towed back. Then seals and gaskets they supposedly replaced the first time began to leak, and they told me I needed over $2000 worth of work done to replace them. When I asked if the same seals were fixed during the first repair, they checked and acknowledged that they had indeed been previously replaced, and then told me that they actually weren't leaking, and that I did not need the repair that they were about to charge me for. When confronted about it, they refuse to get back to me and deal with it. And this is not an isolated event apparently; check the Better Business Bureau and the Virginia Consumer Protection Agency websites to see all of the other complaints against this outfit. Beware.

Do not buy a used car from thi...

Do not buy a used car from this place. 100% dishonest salesmen. When I bought my car, I was told it was new on the lot (the car had not been washed yet) and had never been in an accident etc. The car's description and my bill of sale also says that the car is black. I bought the car, came home and washed it and found that the car is actually a dark blue and has been repainted on the front fender and also on the bumper. The color code for my car is Monaco Blue, it is in no way shape or form a black vehicle. About four months after owning the car, we got some heavy rain and the interior started leaking. I took the car to a different dealer to be serviced and was informed that the windshield was not factory installed, in other words the car had been in an accident and the dealership tried to repair the car themselves and cover it up.

When I called Checkered Flag Audi Jaguar to complain about all of this, they brushed me off and told me that the car was washed when it was sold to me. THERE WERE COFFEE STAINS ON THE INSIDE OF THE CAR WHEN I BOUGHT IT. They told me face to face that it had not been washed yet, but here we are months later and they tell me I am a liar and that never happened. They told me the car was never in an accident and the paint must have been just a poor touch-up paint job.

Disgusting is all I can say. Take my advice and go to CarMax. I hope these guys go under.

Web site has a service coupon ...

Web site has a service coupon for $59.99 oil change special. Coupon notes "all models included" I called today and was told M3 not included. My advice, go elsewhere. I did.

Serious issues with taking responsibility for defective products

After buying a 2009 XF from Checkered Flag Jaguar brand new, I have a number of serious problems with the car. First the rear differential needed to be replaced just after a few months. That stay in the shop was about 2 weeks. The the keyless remote stopped working and the key system needed to be replaced. That was another week or so in the shop. Recently, the shifter transmission knob jammed. It has spent over 3 weeks in the shop waiting for an overseas part. It may be even a few more weeks until I get the car back. Of course during all of these extended stays, I have had to continue to make my loan payments.

The Checkered Flag service department wants to take zero responsibility for a clearly defective product. One service representative named Mike even told me he didn't think it was reasonable to hold the dealer responsible for a product produced by Jaguar....I reminded Mike that I bought the car from Checkered Flag, not Jaguar, and that I am a customer directly of the dealer. I insisted on the dealer taking the car back..as it is clearly defective and I've lost several thousands of dollars in car payments considering the amount of time the car has spent in the shop for repairs. I was supposed to receive a call back from a manager, but several days later....still no call.

I would strongly advise against Checkered Flag. Their business philosophy obviously is to take little responsibility for any product problems that arise. They clearly need to understand that in this age customers are now able to share their experiences with a much broader audience of potential customers.
