Tucson Tae Kwon DO School

I got back into Tae Kwon Do in 1996, having taken it as a kid about 20+yrs ago. In 1996 there were 49 martial arts schools in Tucson and 8 of them Tae Kwon Do. I checked them all out, and although this centrally located school is about 30-minutes from my north-west side house, and there are closer schools, I realized it is the school that is most important, not its location. This school offers a large newly matted beautiful practice area, a workout area with weights, showers, locker rooms, and you can take classes six days a week - all for one price. It teaches traditional Tae Kwon Do Chung Do Kwan, self-defense, and also includes Kukkiwon forms, and allows you to get black certifications from Korea. My kids (13 and 14) also come to class with me and we especially love Saturday morning classes.
