Route 66 Golden Shores RV Park

Be Warned.

This is an old mobile home park trying to be an RV Park but without any amenities or investment in the required proper infrastructure. The electrical was put in by an unlicensed contractor in violation with State laws and is suspected to have caused damage to sensitive electronics. It caused the thousands of dollars in damages the owner claims to have no responsibility for.

The water system is so close to the surface it grows algae in the lines and is so hot in summer as to be unusable.

The bath house is a 25 year old structure that hasn't been in service in over ten years.

The Wi-Fi is only available in the old house.

The property is littered with glass, nails , thorns and ant hills.

The concrete slabs are deteriorating or non-existent.

There are areas of soft sand that will trap your RV and blow out your rear end or at a minimum result in a costly tow bill.

The owner knows about all of the hazards and ignores them. If you enter into an agreement with him he will most likely renege on it once you have done your part.
