Anal Glands
have you ever witness your dog dragging their bottom along the grass or carpet? if so, this may be a sign that your dog needs their anal glands expressed! what does that mean? this means that their sacs, filled with a liquid that expels with their feces, weren't properly released by the dog. this causes dog to "scoot" and release a pungent smell that is very close to the smell of a skunk. if a dog doesn't get their anal glands express and they become impacted, this can result in an infection that would later lead to a veterinary visit. it is most commonly seen with male dogs, house dogs and small dogs! every dogs visit here at it's pawfect, is a smell free one. we automatically express all dogs' anal glands when getting either a bath or a haircut. if your dog needs them expressed more than your regular visit, you are welcome to come in without an appointment

Not only is the staff amazing but, my pets love coming here. When I leave I know that my pets (family) are safe
