CONGRATULATIONS! Dr. Streeter & staff. I just read that you won "Best Veterinarian" in last years Readers' Choice Award from Spokane Coeur d'Alene Living Magazine.

I couldn't agree more having been going to your clinic since I was a little girl when your Dad was practicing. Keep up the good work. My critters wouldn't be happier anywhere else.

I have been going to five mile pet for a few years now. I have always had great help there! The staff are always willing to answer my questions and give advice. When my animals are sick I know they will be in great hands! When my dog passed it was a horrible experience and I am glad the people at five mile pet were there to help. They were able to guide me through the process. Thanks again to the crew of five mile pet! I know my furry family will always be welcomed!

I brought my beagle Molly in when I found her unresponsive at 4PM Dec 7th 2007. The vet Dr Streeter drained a tumor in her chest, afterwards she walked out happily wagging her tail. When I asked for more information the vet told me she was very sick and probably would not last the night. Since it was 15 minutes until closing I was pretty devastated and not sure what else to do. So instead of having ANY decency he told me to "hurry up & make a choice as they were closing in 15 minutes". I unfortunately chose to put my sweet little dog to sleep from the prognosis he made. Since then I have been subjected to rude treatment ( My mother as well ) from Glenda the receptionist and Dr Streeter himself. This clinic has NO interest in helping you if you have a balance or you come in before closing ( My family has frequented this vet for over 20 years ) . The abrupt rude behavior smacks of indecency. I would suggest anyone needing to take your dogs in to go elsewhere as Dr Streeter has ZERO bedside manner & Glenda & other staff are completely rude.

Great one-on-one with the Docs there. Very homey family oriented, family-run, clinic with a PRACTICAL approach to every individual. I hope they're around forever!

When I took my dog to Five Mile Pet Clinic, I spent the entire time feeling like Dr. Vern was trying to hide costs from me. I did not trust him. He was never upfront with my wife and me. My impression of him is that he is a weasel. His top priority is his business and profit. If there is a way that Five Mile Pet Clinic can find to force your hand and make you pay for something, they will do it.

When I called and asked to have my dog's files transferred to another clinic, the receptionist hugn up on me.

Although this clinic is competent, and although it is the closest clinic to my house, they will never see my dog again.

I was not only unimpressed by their lack of medical ethics, I am frustrated by their lack of business ethics.
