Wet Willie's

My coworker and I went bar hopping on River St this past Wen. This was our first destination, as it was highly recommended by a friend. Drinks were strong but too sweet for my taste. Definitely a bit of our tourist trap.

I got hired on the spot for the new Wet Willies on Tybee. I applied and explained i was gonna work two jobs since beach work is seasonal, they had no problems. I go in to the initial orientation after im hired and it turns into a completetly different show. We were told as a group we were nothing more than "lever pullers" and anyone can do our job so if u have experience, we consider u a "prima donna". This set a tone that even though I have years of customer service, im on the same level as a teenager with no experience, over that insult. Second, there was no set time for this orientation, if u are so "professional" and so "by the book" its seems tacky to not have a set time for an orientation when you dont even know when the business will be open??? I got caught texting my real job that I would be late when I was accosted by the jerk manager giving the orientation, he never set a time for, and he focused on me and race only the entire time! Every story was black people, old people, black people, gay people, it was a sign that I was not gonna enjoy this hostile environment, then an hour later he called n fired me for the phone incident. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Luck Wet Willies!!! I quit before i left the orientation!!!!!!

Really great place and great environment. Frozen drinks are top notch without a doubt. The food was pretty good too, but the frozen drinks are definitely a must try. Wish their were more waiters but the frozen drinks make u forget about that. I will definitely go back.

Not for lite drinkers! All frozen drinks here that definetly has alcohol in em'!
