Terrible service and management. They are not in SB, they sub-contract to somebody in LA. They overcharged for services they did bother to render and they didn't even move all my furniture. The movers showed up late, with a truck that was too small, and didn't even have a furniture dolly. They were not able to move my heavy furniture and ran out of room even with what they could move. They wanted me to agree to payment terms before unloading and when I asked if they were going to finish moving all my furniture they said they would "come back tomorrow" but I had to pay for everything now. When I refused they delayed unloading for an hour while I spoke to their supervisor on the phone. He acknowledged their mistake in not sending the furniture dolly but reiterated I had to pay them BEFORE they would finish unloading. Since they had wasted enough of my time and it was already 8:00PM I said I would unload the truck myself if I had to, they proceeded to lock the truck and demand I pay them in CASH up front before unlocking it again. Had to speak to their supervisor again and get them to finish doing the work, when he promised they would come back to finish the rest the next day. Well they never showed up and when I called they said they work was completed the previous day. Had to hire someone else to move the rest of my furniture and do a chargeback on my credit card for the extra amount I had to pay the guys I should have hierd in the first place. Aviod these scumbags at all costs.

We want to express our appreciation for the fine, professional service Movers in Santa Barbara provided to my family in moving my mother from Santa Barbara to Canyon Lake. The movers worked from before 9 AM to after 8 PM in loading up two trucks, and yet still arrived for the delivery before 9 AM the next morning. All four men –Jerry, Antonio, Joel, and Mike – were very gracious and helpful throughout both days, and provided great care in the packing and handling of Mom's household items. After reading many scary reviews of other moving companies, the reviews of Movers in Santa Barbara seemed almost too good to be true. We can attest that Movers in Santa Barbara is everything you claim on your web page and more. It was a pleasure getting to work with you, and we highly recommend your services. Movers in Santa Barbara the best movers in Ventura County I would highly recommend. I had some time constraints in the move that would have seriously been pushed if they had taken 8 hours or shown up extremely late. However, they called to let me know they were on their way and showed up exactly when they were scheduled. They started off with 3 guys, but they added a 4th right after they started. These guys had been moving into 1 am that morning and it was obvious they were tired but it didn't affect their work at all. They took no time in getting started and before I know it all 70 boxes that we had packed were in the truck. I'm not quite sure how they can strap 4 boxes of books to their back and go down two flights of stairs, but they did it over and over again. Then there was the furniture, which they seemed to get down just as fast and without any damage that we could find. Just under 2 hours into the move they had completely emptied my apartment and were heading to the new place. Somehow they beat me there and as soon as I got the door open for them they were bring stuff in. They were extremely careful with my stuff on this end and were happy to place things wherever I asked. Raul and his crew were so fast that they were done in exactly 4 hours. This was a very busy moving time but that didn't seem to faze them at all or affect their attitudes.

Hi, I moved from Simi Valley to Santa Barbara and I used Movers in Santa Barbara to move me‎. The quality of the move was excellent from start until the delivery. At first I was considering doing the job myself, but then my girlfriend did not want to help with the packing, so I decided to let a moving company do it. I got several estimates and I decided to use Movers in Santa Barbara since they had a good competitive price. The picking went great. The foreman Johnny had everything he needed to do the move. I contracted for the full service which included all the packing supplies and all the labor for the move. They packed absolutely everything for my move even my piano. The piano was $150 extra and believe me I had other movers say they would charge anywhere from $200 to $500 to move the piano. That was a great price to move the piano. They did a great job. The piano arrived in my new home without a scratch. Both parts of the move were excellent. Emily was the most professional person I spoke with on the phone and she followed up on the whole move. I had a really hard time choosing movers this time around after vary bad experience I had from a different company last time but, I am so glad I chose Movers in Santa Barbara. I would recommend them to ANYONE and when I need to move again, I will definitely be using Movers in Santa Barbara.

I was moved yesterday by Santa Barbara Movers and these guys were great. From the minute they arrived, they were professional, polite and fun. Movers took great care with every article they touched. I had a lot of art and fragile pieces and they were all hanfdled with care. It took a little longer than I thought it would, but the extra time and care were well worth it. I would definitely use them again.‎

Movers in Santa Barbara handled our move from the first item packed to the last item unloaded and alleviated all of the stresses related to our move. Nice to see that some companies still have excellent work ethics these days. The movers did an excellent job and definitely delivered everything their relocation specialist promised us over the phone.
