        In 1973 Thomas Hunter Jr purchased Hunter Auto Body’s Current location in St.Louis County. The building we operate out of today has been a body shop since the 1940′s (talk about some history). Since The Hunter family purchased the shop it has always been our number one priority to satisfy the customer and continue to build lifelong customers. We were one of the first shops in the area to use computerized estimating, and to this day keep up to date with the newest repair technology available. Our staff are highly trained with years of experience, and a continuing commitment of on-going education through I-CAR and various other platforms. In the early 90′s we began using a state of the art sonar measuring system to fix frame damage. We just recently have updated our spray booth in order to GO GREEN and begin using Sherwin-Williams waterborne finishes. We recently have partnered up with HERTZ rental cars, and keep rental on premise to take the headache out of car rental. We work on all cars foreign and domestic, with a primary focus on vehicles 10 years old and newer. From the smallest scratch to a major fender bender we can fill your needs. We also work with all insurance companies. Here at Hunter Auto Body we cant wait for you to become part of our family!

        Highly recommend Hunter Auto Body. The ownership and staff are very friendly and personable. Their work is the highest quality and pricing is very fair. They know their stuff and are extremely helpful. They've earned my business from here on out and have actively been recommending to friends, family, and co-workers. Recommend checking them out and giving them a chance to earn your business.

        Commitment to taking care of customer SURPRISED ME. I had my 2004 van in for some work on the door hinges. Nobody knew how bad they were and ended up being quite the ordeal. Jack and his crew finished the job with GREAT quality in spite of it taking up time from other work he had to do. Also, he honored his quote even to his own detriment, wanting to run his business "the right way". I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs body work done in the Affton, South County, South City area.
