Canyon Creek Gymnastics & Tumbling

as a former gymnast and mom of a former gymnast at ccgt can I just say this is gymnastics a very physically demanding sport that requires a ton of discipline you have to be able to push your body in order to become great. They are training Olympians absolutely you will hear yelling at the team girls, how else are they going to get better?! As for Bill and Debbie (the owners), imagine owning a gym all by yourself and raising their granddaughter, no doubt it's stressful so yes they might have an argument they have been married 25+ years!

This place was great and the only reason my daughter had to quit was because of time, it takes a lot of time. And I wish I, a single mom, could bring my daughter back!

There are so many other options if you look around, this should not be one of them!!! Do not subject your child to this place. They ridicule the girls horribly. I am not talking about just a firm coach. I am talking about mean downright bullying of these little girls. To the point I have heard from other parents that several of their girls were severely depressed, and one was anorexic. There was also one girl who was punished for having an asthma attack. It is just a toxic environment!

Keep your child as far as possible from this place!!! The abuse that goes on at this place in ridiculous. The owners are a husband and wife and the frequently have screaming matches with each other right in the middle of the gym. These have in the past even led to him throwing things around the gym in a fit of rage. Not a great example for the little girls to be learning from if you ask me. The coach often makes jokes of a sexual nature right in front of the girls.
