$400 for a rebuilt carburetor that never worked. I asked him to take a second look at it and told me he wasn't even going to take it out of the box. I can only assume that he pulled it off of one of the junker cars littering his rat hole property. When I took it apart, I found small screws that had been cut off with pliers, missing gaskets, and silicone mopped on to try and keep it from leaking gas. I never got the impression that he is a competent mechanic, instead a "Sanford and Son" junk collector trying to pass himself off as a rotary know it all.
STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

This mechanic is terrible! Save your money and go to a competent mechanic. Paid him to do an engine swap for us with an engine we provided. He kept it over a month, finally, put the engine in and returned it to us, leaking engine oil and with a check engine light on. Took it to another mechanic to find the oil leak. Oil was leaking from the oil line that he hadn't tightened, mechanic also noted there were many loose and missing bolts on the engine and that the starter was broken, which wasn't disclosed to us. He claimed it wasn't his job to tightened all the bolts, that he put the engine in as is. He lures you in by explaining how through he is, and promised us a well running vehicle. Instead, we got a vehicle that couldn't pass emissions, had a substantial oil leak and was a hazard to drive due to his careless, negligent work. DO NOT GIVE THIS MECHANIC YOUR BUSINESS.
